5.39 pm The players are actually shaking hands this time and the fourth Test at Old Trafford ends in a draw. A draw that will feel much sweeter for India. England lead the series 2-1 with the final Test beginning in four days time at the Oval.

In the end, after two nervy sessions on the final day, India have drawn this Test quite comfortably. Who would have imagined that they would lose only two wickets in 142 overs, after losing their first two wickets in the first over? Epic match-saving innings from Rahul, Gill, Sundar and Jadeja to keep India alive in the series.

The match ended with some testy exchanges between the two teams. England wanted to end their ordeal at the start of the last hour. Jadeja and Washington wanted to bat on and complete their hundreds. Words were exchanged as England's frustration boiled over. We haven't heard the last of that for sure.

Ganesh: "Long live Test Cricket! What a game! "

Nagendira: "Don't understand the chirping from English players. Fans wanted to see Sundar and Jadeja score a century. Sportsmanship should be shown from both teams. Poor behavior from England. "

Gautam Sharma: "An important stat, England bowled around 250 overs vs India around 160 in addition to the rest Indian bowlers get for last 2 days."

Pankaj: "Piss poor from Stokes. Denying hundreds to well deserved players. Heck of an entitlement from English players."

Siddhesh: "Stokes can whinge about his team not chasing milestones all he wants. Just don't try to impose your views on other teams and expect them to fall in line. "

I'll have the presentation for you shortly ...

Shubman Gill at the presentation: "Extremely pleased with the batting, under pressure the last couple of days, we responded after losing those two early wickets, never easy ... It's all about taking the day five wicket out of the equation, every ball is an event, take it ball by ball and take it as deep as possible ..."

Gill on the scenes at the end: "It was up to the boys in the middle, they batted brilliantly, in then90s, they deserved the centuries."

"Learned a lot of things, every match going into the last session of the last day ... these four matches, it's taught us a lot as a group. Hopefully we can draw the series."

Will Bumrah have time to recover for the next test? "We'll have to wait and see," says Gill.

Now it's time for Ben Stokes, who is also the player of the match for the second Test in a row.

Stokes: When you have a good game as an allrounder, you assess it by the result at the end of the game ... I'd give this all back to get the result that we wanted. It's been a tough five six weeks [on his body] .... I asked the guys to run through a brick wall for the team and tried to lead by example ... it's tough work ...

"[On his shoulder] It's just the workload thing, got through a fair amount of overs, it starts creeping up on you. As I say to the bowlers, pain is only an emotion ... "

"Heap load of credit for the way Washington and Jadeja played, got to give them a lot of credit. to do what they did for that position ...

"It's been a back and forth series so far, throwing punches at each other, great credit to the way India have kept fighting."

"We threw absolutely everything at them but they were able to absorb the pressure."

"All the hardwork was done by India and there was only one result ... I wasn't going to risk any of my bowlers ... Dawsey had bowled a lot of overs and his body was tiring ... I wasn't going to risk any of my front line bowlers."

"We'll have to use these next few days wisely, we're lucky to have a battery of bowlers that we can call on at any time. We'll have to see how it goes the next few days."

Phew, what a Test match. We'll have plenty of post-match news and analysis up on our site shortly capturing the emotion and drama of another gripping fifth day. Thank you for all your emails all through this Test, see you in a few days! Cheers.

Muhammad: "Stokes is a phenomenal sportsman but I don't really understand his objections here. These two just saved their team from a massive loss and are within touching distance of their hundreds. Why on earth would they stop short of their centuries when there is still time left in the match??"

Jeff : "piss poor from India here. centuries in a done and dusted game seem to be better than sportsmanship!! "
