5.51pm Sri Lanka end up with 248 then. It's the highest total of this series, and they'll be pleased to have got there considering how much turn this pitch is taking. It turned a lot more when the ball became older: it will be interesting to see if that pattern repeats when India bat. Lovely innings at the top from Avishka Fernando, fell four short of a hundred and gave Riyan Parag his first ODI wicket. He went on to pick up two more, and this performance shows how much of an asset he can be, capable of bowling offbreaks and legbreaks and turning both appreciably. Anyway, Madushka will be back soon to bring you the start of the chase.
Parag: "A little disappointed, could have given 10-15 runs less. It wasn't turning initially, then towards the back end it started turning more. 25 overs, I don't think there was a single bit of turn. If it kept on like that, it could have been 300. But it started turning, and it's a pretty good score. We pulled it back in the middle overs, getting it down to 240-odd is a great effort from the boys."
Sriram: "Good finish by Sri Lanka. It looked like they might finish under 230 but India have to bat out of thier skin to get that target against a big spin attack"
Suryakant: "This series continued to pull interest of viewers throughout. Low scoring games with last over finishes. Good for white ball cricket. Really enjoyed it. "
Final ball. Can Sri Lanka get to 250?
