5.40pm Superb bowling performance from New Zealand, who have restricted Pakistan to 242. It was captain Santner who led the bowling unit, going for just 20 off his ten overs, picking two wickets. None of the Pakistan batters really got in. Babar became the joint-quickest to 6000 ODI runs, but fell soon after. Mohammad Rizwan and Salman Agha stitched an 88-run stand for the fourth wicket but that took 120 balls, with Rizwan in particular unable to get the ball away. Naseem and Faheem hung around for 31 balls, but Pakistan were still unable to bat 50 overs. Can NZ chase this down or will Pakistan defend this? Join Deiva in a bit to find out.
Michael Bracewell: Pretty decent surface, maybe a bit two-paced, but hopefully it will get betters under lights. The modern game, you have to keep the batters guessing. You have to vary your line and length. There is so much power in the game, very tough for the bowlers.
