3.35pm Another Scotland innings with a few impressive bits that don't add up to too much. Munsey and McMullen were excellent, but no one else got past 20, and Australia's seamers once again used their height really well to keep bashing the ball into the pitch and extract inconsistencies of pace, bounce and movement. Cameron Green finishes with 3 for 35, his first three-for in all T20s. Don't go anywhere. Abhimanyu will be here very soon to bring you the start of the chase.

1
Green to Sharif, 1 run, in the blockhole on off stump, jams his bat down and digs it out into the extra-cover region
19.5
0
Green to Sharif, no run, beaten again. Looks to make room and Green follows him with a back-of-length ball angling into the body. Misses the back-cut, and the ball slides past the inside edge

This is Green's first three-fer in all T20s, by the way.

19.4
0
Green to Sharif, no run, slower length ball wide of off, past the edge as Sharif tries to slash it away
19.3
1
Green to Currie, 1 run, slower length ball angling into the stumps, worked away to deep square leg
19.3
1w
Green to Currie, 1 wide, full, angling down leg, shuffles across and misses the flick

Green has three now. Over the wicket to No. 11 Currie.

Green to Watt, OUT, another slower ball, into the pitch outside off, and this time Watt sets himself up back in his crease, clears his front leg, and swings it high into the leg side. Doesn't connect as cleanly as he'd like, though, and Fraser-McGurk, running to his left from long-on, takes a good sliding catch, just about avoiding a collision with Abbott coming the other way from deep midwicket

Green to Watt, no run, down the track, has a big yahoo at this slower length ball outside off, and swings too early and misses

Right. Watt is still there. Can he strike a couple of big blows in this last over? It's Green to finish. Round the wicket.

Charles: "Australia's fielding has beeb out of the this world. Everything has gone to hand."

Hardie to Sharif, no run, cross-seam, into the pitch, gets a bit of bounce in the corridor. Rides the bounce nicely and steers into the point region

Safyaan Sharif to face his first ball of the series.

18.5
W
Hardie to Sole, OUT, bowled him. Length ball angling into off stump, skids through to knock the stump out of its moorings after Sole clears his front leg and misses the swing across the line

CB Sole b Hardie 2 (6m 7b 0x4 0x6) SR: 28.57

18.4
1
Hardie to Watt, 1 run, in the blockhole close to off stump. Was trying to make room, so has to reach out to stab this away into the point region

Round the wicket to Watt, who hasn't had much strike.

18.3
1
Hardie to Sole, 1 run, looks for the yorker on the stumps, ends up bowling a low full-toss on the pads, flicked away to deep square leg
18.2
0
Hardie to Sole, no run, and again, beaten outside off. Length ball again, but wider, and he reaches out to try and carve it away with a diagonal bat
18.1
0
Hardie to Sole, no run, length ball fairly wide of off, looks to launch it over the covers and gets beaten. Don't know if it moved away off the track or he just played down the wrong line

Hardie.

1
Abbott to Sole, 1 run, digs it in short again, and it nips in off the pitch to finish around Sole's left armpit. Awkward delivery, but he plays it well enough, hopping on top of the bounce and tucking it down to fine leg
17.5
0
Abbott to Sole, no run, short, rising ball in the corridor, looks to make room and slap it away and gets beaten by bounce
17.4
0
Abbott to Sole, no run, hard length, up at hip height on the stumps. No room for the pull, and not short enough. Drags it into the ground, a short distance away on the leg side

Chris Sole is the new man.

17.3
W
Abbott to Jarvis, OUT, full slower ball on off stump, and the change of pace does for Jarvis. Too early into his attempted hit over mid-off or cover, and it balloons high in the air for Marsh to get under at extra-cover, well inside the circle

J Jarvis c Marsh b Abbott 3 (4m 3b 0x4 0x6) SR: 100.00

17.2
2
Abbott to Jarvis, 2 runs, looks to make room and Abbott follows him with a climbing short ball. Tries to pull, and gets a top-edge that loops high over the keeper and falls safely to the right of fine leg
17.1
1
Abbott to Watt, 1 run, short, angling away to finish wide of off, slapped to long-off

Abbott, over the wicket to the left-hander.

John : "easy to tell that Travis Head comes from an Australian Rules Football state."

Stoinis to Watt, 1 run, round the wicket, banged in short outside off, slower ball too. Waits and uses his wrists nicely to work it to deep square leg
16.5
1
Stoinis to Jarvis, 1 run, back of a length on off stump, stays leg-side of the ball and punches to deep cover point

Jack Jarvis is in at No. 8.

16.4
W
Stoinis to McMullen, OUT, short, angling in towards off stump, and that's a terrific bit of improvisation, only for Travis Head to appear in the ball's path and pluck it out of midair. Steps across and plays a falling, over-the-shoulder scoop, and he times it brilliantly as well, but Head steps to his right at short fine leg and times his jump perfectly to grab it with his left hand stretched high over his head. Takes his cap off to the crowd after completing the catch too
