10.20pm So that's a wrap from Gwalior. India take a 1-0 lead in style. For a proper recap of how the game went, head over and read Monga's report. The series will continue in Delhi with the second T20I on Wednesday. For now, on behalf of Monga, Sudeep and everyone else at ESPNcricinfo, this is Abhimanyu signing off.

10.12pm Here's the presentation ceremony.

Arshdeep Singh is the man of the match: "There was some breeze from the side I was bowling so I used that. I didn't get the wickets the way I wanted but that's okay. It's just minor changes in the run-up, in the wrist. It's just exploring how I can get better and trying out things. The experience is there. The more you play, the better you get. Really excited the way everyone bowled, especially Mayank. Even my normal balls felt like slower balls compared to his pace. In this format the best thing you can do is adapt to different pitches and conditions."

Suryakumar Yadav: "We just tried to back our skills and what we decided in the team meeting, we just walked the talk. The way the guys showed their character on the field, first time playing on a new ground, and the way we batted, showed our character. [On the debutants] Very excited and looking forward to seeing them in the next games. It's a good headache to have when you are on the field when you have extra bowling options. You always learn something new playing every game. There will be a few areas to improve, we'll sit down and talk about it before the next game."

Najmul Hossain Shanto: "We didn't start well. In T20s, the first six overs are very important but we didn't start well. The plan was to play positive cricket and play with intent from the first ball but we had to manage some overs. We need a better plan for the next matches. If we had some wickets in hand, we could have scored 10-15 runs more. Bowling-wise, we didn't have enough runs on the board. Very hard for the bowlers on a pitch like this. We needed more runs. But I think Rishad bowled well and Fizz as well."

The presentation ceremony coming up shortly...

9.55pm And India wrap up the win inside 12 overs, treating the packed Gwalior crowd to an entertaining win for the home side. Hardik Pandya finishes unbeaten on 39 off 16, after some quickfire cameos from the top three. Debutant Nitish Kumar Reddy also finishes unbeaten. The win was set up, of course, by the bowlers. Arshdeep started the carnage and wrapped it up, while Varun Chakravarthy marked his international comeback with a three-wicket haul. Mayank Yadav impressed on international debut, starting off with a maiden over before grabbing Mahmudullah's wicket. A comprehensive display from them. Bangladesh will have a lot to think about. Will we see a batting order shuffle? How will their bowlers react to this? Like I said, they have a lot to think about.

Varun Chakravarthy: "After three long years, it was definitely emotional for me and it feels nice to be back in the Blues. Feels like a rebirth. I just want to stick to the process because that's what I was doing in the IPL also. I just want to stay in the present and don't want to think or express too much. After IPL, I played a few tournaments and one of those was the TNPL. That's a place where I worked a lot, with Ash bhai [R Ashwin] also. It was good preparation for me for this series. There have been many [challenges]. Once you are not in the Indian side people tend to write you off. But you have to stay at the highest level and keep knocking on the door. Thankfully, this time it paid off."

Taskin Ahmed to Pandya, FOUR, What's happened here? This is full outside off, Hardik swings hard towards the leg side, so much so that the bat flies towards square leg. But the ball's sliced through point and short third for four

Taskin Ahmed to Pandya, FOUR, That was all swagger from Hardik Pandya! Short ball angling into him, and he plays a no-look ramp over the keeper. Keeps his eyes at the bowler and doesn't stop looking. That's going to go viral for sure!
