10.50pm: Almost time for the presentations... Here we go, starting with England captain Jos Buttler: "We started brilliantly, taking lots of wicket in the powerplay. At the end of the batting powerplay we were in a great position and I think we should have gone on to win. [Let it slip?] Disappointing, we did some good things. I dropped a catch and Dube played a really good innings. We were in a fantastic position with the bat, then lost wickets together. [Lessons] We've doubled down on how we want to play and I'm really impressed with how we did that. I think we can commit more and then when we do that we'll get more out of ourselves."

Shivam Dube is Player of the Match but unable to collect his award due to the concussion

India captain Suryakumar Yadav: "Top effort from everyone, and the great crowd from start till the end. [12 for 3] We didn't want to go back, boys know what brand of cricket we want to play. Three wickets in one over was too much. But the positivity, and the way Dube and Pandya showed their experience in the middle was great. This is what we have been talking about - expressing yourself and batting the same way as in the nets. The way they practice is incredible and they do it in the game. I'm happy, I think we're moving in the right direction. I always knew post-powerplay, [overs] 7-10 there was a time we could control the game. We picked up a few wickets, and then Harshit Rana came in as a third seamer and delivered for us, that was incredible."

Okay, that's a wrap for tonight. Sid Monga's report is up and there'll be more to come - not least on that thorny concussion sub issue, I'd imagine. India have won the series but there's still one more game to play, in Mumbai on Sunday. Make sure to join us for that. Bye!

10.33pm: Fireworks go off above the MCA Stadium in Pune. The players are shaking hands, Jos Buttler wearing a tight smile. Whatever the discussion around the concussion sub, England had India 12 for 3 and then 79 for 5 - and followed up by galloping to 62 for 0 with one ball left in the powerplay. But they lost 3 for 5 as India's spinners exerted their influence, and then 3 for 8 after Harry Brook's half-century had seemingly put them back in charge. Ravi Bishnoi and Harshit Rana both picked up three wickets, their efforts following a vital stand of 87 between Shivam Dube and Hardik Pandya - and demonstrating the depth of India's squad, fighting back from a triple-wicket maiden in the second over from Saqib Mahmood

Harshit Rana has been speaking to the host broadcaster: "When Dube came back, two overs into the chase, I was told [about being the concussion substitute]. I have been preparing for a while, not just for this series. I have been waiting for this moment [his debut] to prove myself. When I got the chance, I did not think of the circumstances and just thought about delivering. I have experience of bowling at the death [for KKR in the IPL] and relied on that."

Harshit Rana to Overton, OUT, bowled him, Rana the hero! Third wicket of the night for India's concussion sub, and that has probably sealed the game for India. Length ball outside off and Overton throws the bat, but only manages an inside edge into leg stump. England lose their ninth, and the jig is almost up

Harshit Rana to Overton, no run, goes for wide blockhole, Overton reaches for it... but smacks the ball back at the bowler. Rana takes a stinger on the fingertips, but accepts the dot

"CSK think tank would be keenly observing overton's approach here," muses Karthik
