4:55pm Another strong bowling show from India, a collective effort. Rana and Jadeja return three wickets apiece and it is quite commendable. England got off to a flying start and were 71 for 0 in eight overs. But then Salt was run-out and that allowed India to come back in. Despite being taken to the cleaners at the start, Rana came back strongly on his ODI debut. Hardik provided India the control they needed after the opening bowlers' spell, and that allowed the other bowlers to chip away. Jadeja struck the big blow of Root, the occasional low bounce on the surface came to Axar's aid to dismiss Buttler. It seems there is enough on the surface for England to try and challenge India. Will they? We'll find out soon with Alan on the wheel. Don't go too far.
Harshit Rana: "Dream life, but I have worked hard and I am reaping the rewards. The idea was to bowl in a certain length. I was taken for runs earlier but still I stuck to it. They were trying to chance their arms when given the room, so Rohit asked me to bowl at the stumps. The wicket is slightly double-paced, the odd ball stops on it. We have bounced back well, bowlers have done well. It is a good total, we can chase it down."
