1.08pm Good grief. That was some remarkable cricket. England started brightly through John Turner, kept it tight for the first half of the innings, but the wheels came off at the back end, and some! Shai Hope's 17th ODI century was the mainstay, as Carty, Rutherford, Hetmyer and Forde made the running at the other end. Only four previous totals above 300 at Antigua... this is a matchwinning total, and some.

"He's a wonderful player, the whole world knows it," says Carty of his captain. Can England's rookies find a way to fight back? They'll need to show more gumption than they displayed on Thursday. Vish will be here to see how it pans out.

Jon: "Maybe Cox should've bowled the last - surely could've kept them to a little less!!!" He fancies himself as a bowler, as it happens...

Mahmood to Forde, SIX, preposterous hitting! Low full toss, another massive wipe through the line, his followthrough aims to long-on but the contact was clean over long-off!
