4.48pm: A career-best score from Charlie Dean from No. 8 to hold the England innings together, but not much else to shout about with Heather Knight (40) the only other batter to pass 25. Marizanne Kapp was devastating wth the new ball, and the inexperienced Annerie Dercksen was very impressive through the middle, bowling with good pace and using the variable bounce to her advantage. It's not the simplest pitch by any means, so this is unlikely to be a complete walkover of a run chase, but South Africa are clear favourites at the innings break. S Sudarshanan is putting the finishing touches on his innings wrap, which will appear here shortly, and will then be back for the start of the run chase in half an hour.

Luus to Bell, OUT, catastrophic mix-up! Oh dear. Fullish on the pads, nudged to square leg. Dean set off immediately for the run, but Bell was hesistant in response to the call. It would have been a tightish single in any case, but she finds herself stranded mid-pitch as the throw comes into the bowler's end from Hlubi. Luus does well, gathering on the half-volley and whipping the bails off

Luus to Dean, no run, nudged into the leg side

Luus continues, even with the No. 11 in.

England's seamers will be intrigued by this variable bounce, especially the two tall quicks.

Dercksen to Filer, OUT, knocks back leg stump! Banged in halfway down, keeps much lower than Filer anticipated, and skids into leg stump two-thirds of the way up, under the attempted drag leg-side. Variable bounce works in Dercksen's favour, and England are nine down

Dercksen to Filer, 1 leg bye, scuds through into the knee roll, prolonged appeal from the bowler but clearly sliding down as the ball skews out towards midwicket. Good decision not to burn a review

Thanks Suds. Filer is England's No. 10.
