- BATSMENRBM4s6sSR30.6 Leg-stump half-volley denies Gumbie a half-century. He hadn't scored from the start of the session and falls four overs in. McCarthy got it angling in, was going at the edge of the pad and Gumbie flicked it, probably looking to thread it through but couldn't keep it down and Campher took it to the right at square leg 97/155.1 Campher strangles Masvaure down leg. The batter turned back and had head down, not looking back as the ump gave it out but the fielders were celebrating. Back of lengther landed around leg and may have seamed in a bit but it was on the front hip and the batter tried to whip it fine but could only tickle it to Tucker. Big ol' bonus to end a resilient innings from the opener 167/438.3 Holy hell, that's a dream ball to flick the top of off! Myers' feet were jammed at the crease but that just made the ball look sexier. Full length from wide of the crease, landed around off and decked away. Myers' upper-body lunged forward but the glued feet meant that he couldn't adjust with the deviation despite playing with a straight bat close to the body. McCarthy wheels away in celebration. 121/247.6 top edge to deep square leg! Young goes short, Ervine falls into the trap of the pull, and that's an easy catch in the deep 143/362.1 Spins out of the foothole on day 1, and McBrine has Williams edge to slip! Williams took on the spinner but Balbirnie kept him on and is rewarded. Ball dropped down onto a fullish length, maybe a touch shorter than what the batter expected. He tried to push it towards cover. Got a thin edge, comfy catch for Stirling. McBrine roars with hands spread apart in celebration 193/563.3 oh soft dismissal! Short ball around an off-stump line. Attempts a pull, but it's a wild swing of the bat, and the debutant has gloved one behind! 194/762.2 Wow, Madande's fallen in the attempt to pump the first ball out the ground. Two in two for McBrine. McBrine applauds the batter with full energy. Ball was looped up on a fullish length, Madande danced down and got close to the pitch, drove through the line and tried to hold his shape but got it high in the air and off the bottom of the bat. McBrine gift-wrapped a wicket 193/664.5 taken at first slip! McBrine adds a third wicket in his ten-over spell. Full ball just outside off stump. Muzarabani tries to play an on drive, but the ball takes a thick edge and goes to Stirling at a comfortable height 198/867.6 leading edge, and taken at mid off! Adair comes around the stumps and bowls full on middle. Ngarava tries to lift it over midwicket but the ball goes in the opposite direction....up in the air for Humphreys to gobble it up 206/971.3 full ball just outside off. Chatara tries to fend with soft hands, poking at the ball, and gets a thin edge to Tucker. - BATSMENRBM4s6sSR36.5 Bouncer climbs on Moor and it's tickled down to the keeper. Muzarabani continues to hit the pitch hard and gets that around armpit-height. It was angling down leg and Moor shaped to block it towards mid-on, with a buckled left elbow above his head. Maybe he could've left it but the instinct was to fend, and that ends his valiant 79. His highest score for Ireland by a mile 165/415.2 Leg-stump half-volley gets an Irish opener too! It happened yesterday with Gumbie, this time he's the catcher. Ervine's attacking field placement rewarded. This ball was delivered from close to the stumps. Too full and on the pads, Balbirnie tried flicking it from the crease but chipped it slightly. Went low to the left at catching square leg. Balbirnie can't make too much off the dropped chance 71/121.1 Low catch taken at first slip! Fumble from Williams but he took it and Chivanga is justly rewarded. This was a half-volley angled in towards middle before swerving late towards off stump. Campher's feet stayed in the crease and tried punching it late with the full bat-face and hard hands. It hovered low to the right 99/225.2 what do we have here - a second-ball wicket! Full ball originating on middle and leg, but swinging across Tector's pads, and hitting him in front of middle stump. Pushed at the ball down the wrong line and Chivanga has a third. 115/343.4 smartly taken at first slip! Good length ball just outside off. Not really the height to drive. Stirling half-attempts a drive forward, and the turn away induces the edge. A great dive to his left from Ervine at first slip seals the rest 189/636.6 Close lbw call, given. Two in two. Muzarabani traps Tucker lbw first ball with a full ball slanting in. The angle was sharp and it was arrowing in towards off stump. Tucker fell over after being beaten on the flick and was hit low on the pad. It's tough to predict the line from a wide-of-the-crease release like that but that looked out 165/558.3 Seamed back in, given lbw! Was height an issue? What about impact? Doesn't matter as there's no DRS McBrine's a bit sheepish as he punches his partner's gloves but he's done his job. Was a length ball that landed around fourth and hit on the back leg. Maybe just over the pad after beating McBrine, who tried to defend it straight but was late in bringing the bat down. Popped off the keeper too 250/1045.2 this time he swings across the line and misses! Length ball around middle and turning to off. Adair rocks back to swat a shot across the line but the ball stays a tad low and breaks his poles 189/750.3 Last ball of the session has been edged to slip. Ireland's innings continues to mirror Zimbabwe's. Draws McCarthy forward with a full length, the footwork was good and he committed to the block towards cover but couldn't adjust to the bit of away swing. Lowish catch to Williams at second. 200/851.1 top of off! Short of good length but doesn't bounce as much. Young tries to block off the back foot, but he misses, and the bails are on the floor 203/9Extras59 (b 42, lb 5, nb 3, w 9)TOTAL250 all out (58.3 Overs, RR: 4.27)Fall of wickets: 1-71 (Andy Balbirnie, 15.2 ov), 2-99 (Curtis Campher, 21.1 ov), 3-115 (Harry Tector, 25.2 ov), 4-165 (Peter Moor, 36.5 ov), 5-165 (Lorcan Tucker, 36.6 ov), 6-189 (Paul Stirling, 43.4 ov), 7-189 (Mark Adair, 45.2 ov), 8-200 (Barry McCarthy, 50.3 ov), 9-203 (Craig Young, 51.1 ov), 10-250 (Andy McBrine, 58.3 ov)

- BATSMENRBM4s6sSR12.4 Pitch it up, bag a wicket! Gumbie edges to slip trying to drive downtown. This was full but an outswinger that went away through fifth despite shaping in towards off. Gumbie committed to the drive, went hard and got a thickish edge. Ball went quick off the bat at the breadbasket but Balbirnie alert in the slips. Buckles his hips back to buy the extra bit of time and grab on 38/113.1 Cut in half. It's given caught behind, Masauvre looks up in disbelief but has to go!. That jagged back in off a length. Landed around off and came back to go over middle stump. Masvaure might've been a bit unlucky. That might've beaten the inside edge and gone off the back pocket. No reviews, remember. 38/259.2 ohh, this keeps very low, and traps Myers in front! There was hardly a doubt that this wouldn't be given out lbw. Myers was hit on the ankle by this length delivery which shot off low from the shorter side of a length on off. He had shaped to play it as per the original length, only for the ball to skid through very low 174/723.2 Ervine shoulders arms, and there is an animated appeal for lbw by Adair. And after much thought, the umpire raises his finger! The impact will not matter in this case, though, since no shot was offered. Short of a length from Adair, who pitched it on middle and off. I think Ervine left it on length there, as the ball bounced nicely off the pitch and hit him high on his front pad. It is likely too that the ball would have gone over the stumps 66/341.4 Williams is out fishing, Young gets a wicket out of nowhere!. Around the wicket angle works, a send-off too. Young ran towards the batter, who was walked to side right away. Was a length ball shaping in towards fifth before straightening. Got a bit of extra bounce too, Williams wanted to tap it towards cover. Probably for a single. Edged it to the keeper. Richard Kettleborough has a word with the bowler post-celebration 134/447.6 chipped to short leg! Good, agile stuff from Moor, who was placed so close in. He kept squatting while in position, and the ball just rushed on to him, as Bennett clipped off a length ball, which was angled in, and arrived on his pads. That seemed to be hit powerfully, but not in the gap 151/558.4 skied to cover point! A comfortable catch there, as the fielder didn't even have to move. Madande went hoicking at this tossed-up ball which was dipping on a full length on middle and off, but seemed to have closed the face of the bat early. The ball took the leading edge and went up ballooning for an easy take 174/662.1 well judged by Tector at deepish mid-on! He keeps his eyes on the ball all along, and grabs the ball close to his chest while moving to his right. McBrine tossed this up at Muzarabani, and bowled outside around off. Muzarabani went swinging across the line, but only got some height to it, without managing to get the placement right 182/868.1 Appeal for caught behind. Given! The shortish ball angled in, landed around off and spun away. Ngarava went back and upright for the cut. Might've been a touch late. Ngarava didn't look convinced but has to go 195/970.6 Chivanga has another swipe, it's high and is taken at cover. McBrine finishes with a four-for.. He's bowled 23 overs unchanged. What even... News coming in that Adair dislocated his finger taking that catch. Might've been affected by the drop earlier in the day. He celebrated jubilantly. The ball was tossed up generously, Chivanga danced down while making room. Was probably a bit too far away as he swept low and across the line 197/10Extras16 (b 4, lb 11, w 1)TOTAL197 all out (71 Overs, RR: 2.77)Did not bat: VM NyauchiFall of wickets: 1-38 (Joylord Gumbie, 12.4 ov), 2-38 (Prince Masvaure, 13.1 ov), 3-66 (Craig Ervine, 23.2 ov), 4-134 (Sean Williams, 41.4 ov), 5-151 (Brian Bennett, 47.6 ov), 6-174 (Clive Madande, 58.4 ov), 7-174 (Dion Myers, 59.2 ov), 8-182 (Blessing Muzarabani, 62.1 ov), 8-189* (Tanaka Chivanga, retired not out ), 9-195 (Richard Ngarava, 68.1 ov), 10-197 (Tanaka Chivanga, 70.6 ov)

- BATSMENRB4s6sSR1.2 Today might be a day of nasty bouncers, this one has Moor fend it to short leg. Ngarava going short of length, ball zipped off the pitch like it was off an incline. Moor had no time to turn away or get the hands down. It pops off the handle or gloves and short leg, who was standing a bit back, took it well 6/12.2 Taken in the slips! Ireland's chase is in tatters three overs in! Muzarabani going three-quarter length in the channel. It was slanting in and Balbirnie's blade was angled slightly. He might've wanted to defend to cover. But a packed slips cordon, think it was fourth who took it, does the trick 6/31.3 Two in two. Looser ball but Campher cuts it straight to backward point!. He got a flier first innings, golden duck this time though. It was back of length, not that short but the angle, taking it away, lit Campher's eyes. He saw, he hit, he hit it straight under the throat of the fielder. 6/25.1 Tector stands in disbelief as it's given caught behind. Couldn't be worse for a batter out of form or a team in deep trouble. Tector takes a bit of time, almost collapses before getting head down and leaving. Will have be careful with a demerit point note the commentators. Was a half-volley but the left-armer's angle was taking it away through fifth stump. Tector was on off and had a flash. Tried driving through cover. Might've hit ground, might've edged it. He was sure he didn't though 16/45.5 Stirling walks, Zimbabwe can't catch Ngarava. This game, shockingly, might be over today. Stirling telegraphed that he'd go after the ball if he sees it in his half. Ngarava did go full but not half-volley. It's slot but this ain't T20 and the ball rose. Stirling's cover drive was expansive but all he could manage was an edge. Ngarava has a four-four in 17 balls. Again, this isn't a T20 21/525.3 Chopped on! Tucker tried punching through cover, inside edged it back onto the stumps. Muzarabani celebrates and Tucker is applauded as he walks back. The shot was on for the ball, comms say that may have kept a bit low. He certainly misread the line.
