10:46am Bangladesh have stuttered and stumbled their way to 96, which even on a tricky track, does not seem enough, especially against this strong Indian batting unit. Bangladesh, like it happened against Malaysia, lost too many wickets in the powerplay and could not recover. Afif and Emon tried to consolidate but both of them never really got into any sort of rhythm. Jaker remained unbeaten at the end and was briefly supported by Rakibul as he blazed away to 14 but that was about it for Bangladesh.
India, meanwhile, will be happy with how they bowled. Their spinners kept things tight and rarely gave up boundary balls. Sai Kishore bagged three wickets, giving away only 12 runs in his four overs. Sundar also picked up a couple of wickets, with Arshdeep, Bishnoi, Shahbaz and Tilak scalping a wicket apiece. This pitch has not been very conducive to stroke-making but India, at this stage, will back themselves to hunt down 97 in 20 overs. Join us in a bit for the run-chase!
