Scorer: K Vairavan | Commentator: Shashwat Kumar

11:19am Right. That brings us to the end of our coverage for this game. India will now face the winner of the semi-final between Pakistan and Sri Lanka, which starts in about two and a half hours from now. Hope you enjoyed our coverage, we will be back soon with more cricketing action from the Asian Games. Until next time, this is me (Shashwat) saying goodbye on behalf of Vairavan and everyone else at ESPNcricinfo. Take care!

Elsewhere, India's first medal of the Hangzhou Asian Games came via Arvind Singh and Arjun Lal Jat - a silver in the men's lightweight double sculls.

11:07am India coast to victory, and seal their spot in the final. They did not have many to get and despite losing Mandhana early, they got there pretty comfortably. Shafali and Rodrigues were the major contributors, with Kanika remaining unbeaten alongside Rodrigues at the end.

Not much to draw upon, from Bangladesh's point of view. Their spinners did extract assistance, getting the ball to grip, turn and bounce. All that, though, will only leave them with a sinking feeling of what might have been, especially if they had somehow managed to get to the 100-run mark. Nevertheless, they now have to pick themselves up, dust themselves off and get ready for the bronze medal game tomorrow, where they will face one of Pakistan or Sri Lanka.

Shorna Akter to Rodrigues, 2 runs, India are in the final, and they are now assured of a medal in this even! Short and wide again. Rodrigues punches it towards deep cover point. The fielding is a bit lackadaisical and that allows Rodrigues to hare back for the second. India have won this contest by eight wickets and with more than 11 overs to spare!

Shorna Akter to Rodrigues, FOUR, deftly done! Short and wide outside off stump. Rodrigues goes deep into her crease, opens her bat face and steers it beautifully past backward point for four!

Just six needed now for the win. Can India finish it off this over? Shorna Akter to try her luck
