And that's it for now. We are grateful for your attendance, and it was a pleasure to have you here. Please follow the fourth T20I on May 6th at the same time. In these weather, take care and maintain hydration. Until then, this is Rashad signing off on behalf of Sudeep and the rest of the crew.
Harmpanpreet Kaur: I think Smriti and Shafali started well and after 10 overs the ball kept low and they bowled slow paced. So we thought to not play risky shots and just keep looking for singles. (Shafali) She can always give us lot of runs in the powerplay and she is in great touch. Sometimes we are trying things but not going to our favor, but she plays responsibly. Just keep playing well and working hard for the team. (Bowlers) All of them including Deepti bowled really well. She bowled 4 crucial overs today and also in the previous matches. Really proud how they are bowling, they are understanding the plan and bowling in good lengths. (Deepti's golden arm) Very experienced and whenever we are struggling she always gives us breakthrough. We are glad to have her in the side as a bowler and I hope she just keeps doing the good things for the team. (Team rotation) Still have 3 more days for the next game, we will rest and think. Whoever will play will take responsibility whenever they get chance. (Coaching staff) They are very calm and composed, knowing what they are doing. We needed this in this level to know all the plans clearly, if you know your role then you can always execute yourself. They are always giving us ideas and tips. Having them in our side is something we are really happy working with them."
Player of the match Shafali Verma: The ball was coming nicely on my bat and my plan was to hit the ball well. (Crossing 2000 runs partnership with Mandhana) Really happy and we are both enjoying each other. She is always backing me and I am really happy with the 2000 milestone. I hope we will score more 5000 runs together. (Form in WPL) The ball was coming well to the bat in WPL and in this new seires I just tried to play well to my strengths. (Shots played) Liked all the shots I played today. (T20I wc preparation) Whatever I can do for the team and how much I can do. Still 4-5 months to go and keep winning the games until the world cup. My father will be so happy today because after long time I won the man of the match award."
Nigar Sultana: We started well in the powerplay and then we started to lose back to back wickets, also we could not finish well in the last 15-20 overs. (Losing wickets) This team has been doing well for the last six months and we are having a tough time right now, still I think we should keep ourselves calm and composed, believe in ourselves and focus on the process. (Dilara) Is very talented and energetic. She was enjoying herself in the middle and if she had gone further then she would have picked up her first 50. I am sure she will perform well in the next games but as a young player she needs to improve on few things. But overall I am happy with her. (Bowlers) They are doing well each and every time but the batting department is letting us down. But still the way we bowled in the powerplay was a matter of concern, after powerplay we bowled really well. Nahida and the other bowlers made a good comeback at the last end of the innings. (Ritu Moni's blinder) We tried to do something different to get a breakthrough, Ritu managed to break the partnership."
Presentation ceremony:
Harsh Shah: "@AJ completely agree with you, with the kind of start we got this game should have been over by 15th over."
With two games remaining, India had won the third match and the series, capping off another one-sided contest. For Bangladesh, this is their sixth straight T20I defeat. The composed Mandhana and the explosive Verma gave Bangladesh's bowlers little chance. After Ritu Moni's incredible one-handed catch, the bowlers made a last-ditch effort to salvage anything. India was always in control of the game, even if there were not many half-chances or run-out opportunities. India Women won the match by 7 wickets
AJ: "India should have set themselves a target to close this match in 15 overs, this result though foregone is a poor reflection on this team. You need to prepare for tougher battles with teams like Australia, England by setting these targets."
singh: "Pathetic slow batting by these two (even though win is on the card)"
Manu: "I am always with Dipti, Ashwin and Shakib for playing good cricket by taking care of rules of the game."
There's a check by the TV umpire whether Richa Ghosh crossed the line while taking the second run
