Bangladesh got off to a good start and seemed likely to score more than 140 runs. However, the situation was changed by Nigar and Fahima's consecutive wickets. Murshida's outstanding 46(49) knock kept Banglaesh in the game, who missed a well-earned fifty. Ritu and Sobhana contributed little with the bat.
