9.15pm Right folks, that just about wraps things up for this series. Been a lot of fun bringing the Ashes to you, shame it wasn't more of a contest but Australia just too good. From Gnasher, Miller, Alan, Alex, Val and the rest of the crew, it's goodbye and thanks for joining us.
9.00pm Annabel Sutherland is named Player of the Match. "Really proud of the girls, great contribution from the whole squad. 16-0, how good. Really special to be here, to play a Test at the MCG, a ground I grew up spending a lot of time...to contribute to the team's win is really cool."
Alana King is player of the series. "16-0 has a really nice ring to it, couldn't be prouder of the girls. I've had fun from the get-go, always happy to have the ball in my hands. I love bowling for this team and contributing to many wins."
Heather Knight: "Just want to say congratulations to Australia...they pressed home the advantage when they were on top. Some awesome crowds. It's been a tough month, Australia have played some remarkable cricket...there's been some really good performances at time. I can't fault the effort, particularly the bowlers. Unfortunately we weren't quite good enough."
Alyssa Healy: "Got to give some credit T-Mac, she lead beautifully in that T20 series, so a joint effort. Couldn't be prouder of that group. At every opportunity that we thought England were clawing their way back someone cam back and shut the door on them. Full credit to that group. Think the whole series, playing at some of the best stadiums in Australia against a really good opposition, getting crowds back to cricket has been really cool. Great to see everyone here, but think in general the series was an amazing experience for everyone."
8.50pm Gavin: "Australian Men's, Woman's and Men's A side all won by an innings in parallel games. Unbelievable."
Jay from Stanmo: "Re: Gavin (08:50) - England men's, women's, U-19 all lost within a span of 24 hours. Does that count to be unbelievable as well?" Two sides to a story!
It's Gnasher back with you for the presentations which are coming up shortly.
8.45pm: King crowns Australia's moment of glory. The legspinning queen, one of the frontrunners for player of the series - she finishes with 5 for 53 and match figures of 9 for 98. What a moment for her, and women's cricket, at the MCG. For England, the men have endured many a tough tour down under, but the women will chalk this up as a new low - beaten in seven straight games for defeat by a record margin since the points-based Ashes format was introdued
Phoebe Litchfield is chatting to the host broadcaster: "So good. After that last hour... to experience the feeling is pretty cool. Australia has got behind us, the brand of cricket we've played. It's awesome to whitewash them. The hunger, the fight - I'm surprised but also not surprised. To come out and execute and play some awesome cricket, winning those 50-50 moments, that's the difference in tight games. To smash them here is a realy good feeling."
And here's Shelley Nitschke: "We speak a lot about playing our way, focusing on ourselves and not the scoreline. [Impressed by?] Application across the series. Lot of travel with the scheduling. Seeing the younger playes perform like that, makes you really proud."
