New Zealand have been superb in keeping Pakistan to a paltry 134/8, which is not an imposing score by any means. They would have at least liked 170 here. Babar Azam looked out of sync, and his timing was all over the place in an uncharacteristically erratic innings. Pakistan got off to a poor start as debutant Haseebullah Khan got out without troubling the scorers, trying to charge Southee without really taking a good look at the surface. Rizwan and Fakhar carried out some rebuilding work and built a nice partnership, but both lost their wickets at the wrong time, and New Zealand were right back on top. Abbas Afridi clubbed Matt Henry for two sixes in the penultimate over to add little bit of impetus to the innings towards the end. I'll be back with you in a few minutes
