New Zealand have posted an imposing total on the board, and Pakistan's bowlers looked out of sorts and sprayed many loose deliveries. Some ragged fielding didn't help their cause and fielding remains an area of concern for Pakistan. Shaheen Afridi started off well in his first over, but then Allen and Williamson went berserk, and the fireworks never really stopped. A brilliant knock from Mitchell made sure the momentum wasn't stymied. Abbas was good on debut, and so was Rauf towards the end. Mir conceded plenty of runs and was all over the place. It's going to be an uphill battle for Pakistan, but the surface is good and offers value for shots. Pakistan has an experienced batting lineup. Saim Ayub has been in sparkling form of late, so it will be interesting to see how he fares. I'll be back in a few minutes
