Glenn Phillips: It's a dream come true. Never thought it'd be in home conditions, thought it'd be in the subcontinent. It's a surreal moment. Tim is an incredible captain, gives you lots of chances. I've had a serious set of coaching staff over the years. Partnership bowling helped today, we were great after lunch. Any celebration a six-year-old girl would do, that's probably me. I've never thought of what to do after I get a five-for. Celebrating with the crowd was an unbelievable moment. I think we're in the Test. We've got to combat the situation. There's spin, how we play Lyon and the big fast bowlers will be a challenge. We've got a lot of time in hand and hope to get through.

Bruce: "If you subtract the awesome Green first innings and the anomaly of extras, we've really got three 170-odd run innings in a row. Can NZ stand up and produce one great innings to match Green's?"

Lenny: "Lyon, who was dropped on the last ball of the day, ends up being the top scorer for the innings. Who would have guessed how crucial his wicket would end up being!"

Sowmya : "Phillips has given NZ the slimmest of chances. No doubt that the Aussie bowling unit would be more than a handful defending 370"

2:59pm, day 3, innings break Phillips leads New Zealand back and gets a warm round of applause. He's turned the game on its head with a 5 for 45 that could've been a seven-for. His stamina and consistency in the first innings held things together although Head threatened to change that. Post lunch, however, Phillips kept the line outside off and flighted it with fielders out. Head holed out to long-off and Marsh clipped to short leg first ball thanks to the ball turning in. Carey was caught at cover and Green, who was looking solid, didn't have much to work with. He got an inside edge to short leg, although the turn and bounce there will keep Lyon interested. There were two dropped chances off his bowling but Henry ensured they didn't cost too much
