9.4 Hazlewood was unlucky not to have struck till now, that luck turns as Salt skews one to point. Marnus was standing rather close and he got a low catch that he took with a knee on the ground. Was a full ball and Salt walked down a step or two but could't keep the square drive down. Ball hovered straight in the fielder's direction. 48/1
22.4 lines up the slog-sweep, top-edged to Abbott at deep backward square! Maybe a bit of overspin there from Zampa, kicked a touch more than anticipated and a safe take. The end of a fine fifty, he really had to battle through the powerplay, but in so doing, he set a good platform for his team 150/3
13.5 another fat drive, a sliced edge as Marsh's outswing confounds Jacks' intentions. Labuschagne at backward point makes no mistake. England are in a bit of bother now 71/2
30.2 Brook's attempt to smash Zampa all out ends up denying him a ton, but it's been an exhilarating 87 off just 58 balls. He danced down the pitch early and Zampa slowed it down, 84ks/52mph, got it fullish and outside off. Brook was close-ish length-wise but was leg side of the ball and tried to slog sweep it like a golfer. Maxwell overran it a bit but managed to take it nicely 225/4
31.6 Maxwell strikes, the spinners doing it for Australia! The only reason it was a wicket-taking ball was because it got the wicket but it was actually short and on the wider side. 91ks and Smith looked to cut it hard, got a touch late on it and found short third 241/5

11.2 ping! Play that if you can! Marsh plays down the line of a perfect off-stump length ball, and is bowled around the outside edge! Nip and pace, and relentless hammering at the door, cutting back up the slope. Australia's challenge is fading fast, and kudos to Brook, by the way, for going on the attack in this over 80/3

8.4 spank! Back goes the top of leg and Head's fun is done! Carse fires it in very full, from round the wicket, Head aims to leg as is his wont, but this time he's beaten by the angle and England have a priceless breakthrough 68/1
9.6 inside-edge and Smith is done! It was a pre-meditated charge to another ball that Potts was running down the slope. He threw his hands through the new length, but the ball was already deviating and it's an audible snick as the ball nestles in Smith's gloves. Two big wickets and now England are in command 75/2
14.2 Pitch turns two-paced all of a sudden and Inglis spoons one to cover. 141ks on a fullish length, it's around off. Inglis wasn't forward, perhaps expected a shortish ball. Tried to punch it through mid-off, didn't check his shot and ended up getting his bottom hand off the handle 91/4
14.5 Ball of the match? There have been a few contenders in the last few overs! It's not often you ask 'why be a batter' in cricket but this is up there. Off stump has been tucked into bed. 139ks ripsnorter on a three-quarter length. It was supposed to arrow in towards top of middle but the seam movement had it smash top of off. Marnus tried to play the line - defend it with a straight bat. Didn't do anything wrong, the pitch ensured he didn't have to to get bowled all ends up 93/5

23.1 Potts is confident with the lbw call. Joel Wilson doesn't give it. England will review. Around-the-wicket angle but was it too sharp? Was a length ball that landed on fourth stump and angled in. Ball beat the close-faced flick and hit the top of the knee-roll. Carey's feet slid across and he fell over a bit. Line looked to be an issue but Hawk-Eye confirms it isn't. It's crashing leg stump and Potts is on a hat-trick 122/8
15.4 Maxwell falls somewhat like Smith, old-school cheers from the Lord's crowd. Maxwell walks back with an unkind word to the pitch. Back of length, 142ks, decking back in over middle and leg. An under-edge off the pull, with no power spared, went straight to the keeper. Archer's grins are back 96/6
21.6 Taken by Livingstone, running back from mid-on. Abbott trying to repeat the shot from last ball. That was slot and went for six, but this was length, so he had to hit on the rise. He couldn't get the weight forward and skied it right up. Decent catch. 119/7

23.3 Pulled straight to mid-on and the party continues for the crowd. They've paid a lot, guessing it's worth it to a few of the home fans now. Shortish ball just outside off, Zampa caught between a pull and a flat-bat hit, ends up clothing a dolly to Livingstone 122/9
24.4 Bowled. England's white-ball revolution 2.0 seems to have well and truly begun. Hazlewood was leg side of the ball and wanted to pull it but the lack of pace and bounce meant it went well below. Ball went straight with the angle and went to hit leg stump 126/10
