12:20pm Oman have stuttered and stumbled their way to 221, which might not be much but they now have something to bowl at. That score was largely possible due to their middle-order standing up. Shoaib and Suraj registered half-centuries and kept Oman afloat, even as the West Indies kept chipping away. 76 runs came off the last ten overs and that, considering how the rest of their innings went, is a decent tally.
As for the West Indies, they would be pleased with how they bowled throughout. Mayers set the tone at the top alongside Shepherd. Their spinners then applied the squeeze, with each of their tweakers bowling ten overs, also allowing them to stay well ahead of the over-rate. On most days, they will back themselves to hunt down 222. But crazier things have happened (this tournament and to the West Indies) already. Danyal will be back at the start of the run-chase in about 20-25 minutes.
Kevin Sinclair: (On the performance) There has been positive energy in the practice sessions and really good to put in this performance. (On his celebration being called the Sinclair summersault) I am happy with that name. My thing is to bring energy to my team and I think I did that today. (On what the batters must do in the second innings) Just build partnerships, rotate strike and put away the bad balls.
Bilal is the last batter in. Mayers goes around the wicket

Mayers to bowl the final over. Can Oman get up to 220?
