Well, that's all from us for the second T20I. The final match of the series is day after tomorrow. Looking forward for your company for that game. On behalf of Vairavan and Srinidhi, this is Sudarshanan signing off. Take care!
5:15pm Time for the presentations! Nigar Sultana: "Bowlers did well to restrict India. I should have ended the game. I think we didn't get the start we want. Looking forward to the last game. [On Mostary] She is now under treatment. I wish we get her in the next match."
Deepti Sharma, Player of the Match: "I really enjoyed on this track. It helped the spinners. My plan was really simple, we held our nerves and bowled according to the situation. The plan was to bowl dot balls. Harry di told everyone to keep calm, think our process and play confidently. Everyone did well as a team. Whenever I get an opportunity with the bat, I look to finish 20 overs."
Harmanpreet Kaur: "It's always important to bounce back. In the second innings we showed our characters and came up with positive results. Our bowlers were bowling under pressure but did well. In this series we have a couple of young bowlers who are going to take responsibility and bowl for us. Important for us to trust them. We are not going to hide them in the field."
5:05pm India defend 95 to wrap up the T20I series win with a game to spare! A jailbreak for them for sure. After being kept to 95 by Bangladesh, who primarily relied on spinners, India applied the spin-squeeze, too. Deepti and Shafali picked up three wickets apiece after Mani rocked Bangladesh at the top with a double-strike. It did get too close for comfort for India, but they managed to hold their nerves in a close finish.
19 overs of spin is the joint-second-most in a women's T20I innings, says Sampath Bandarupalli!
Azweer : "Last 5 wickets for just a Single, within a span of 8 balls."
Ananth: "17 dot balls in 4 overs! Well bowled Minnu in a helpful pitch!"
