7:50pm So, New Zealand have huffed and puffed their way to 142, which was largely down to Chapman's efforts. He held the innings together and has now ensured that the Kiwi bowlers have something to bowl at. The other batters, though, found it tough to get going and that should give the visitors hope. 142 might not seem a lot but on this surface, they will believe they have more than a chance.
Funnily enough, UAE will also be happy, having restricted the Black Caps to 142. Aayan was the star of the show, picking up three wickets. Jawadullah, battling a bout of cramp, also did well, both at the start and at the death. Naseer and Zahoor were a touch expensive but they did not allow the Black Caps to get up to 150, which will certainly be a positive.
UAE will believe they can knock this total off. NZ will believe they can defend this. A cracking run-chase awaits, join us in a bit for that!
Aayan Afzal Khan: (On how he is feeling) I am feeling very happy. I got a chance in the powerplay and I got a wicket. I was trying to get the batters out. (On which wicket he enjoyed the most) The first one because that was my main ball - it came in. (On the pitch) It was moving a bit at the start. Now, it is hot so maybe it will be easier to bat. Hopefully we can chase it down in 18 overs or so. (On his feedback to the batters) Just to keep it easy. Go big in the powerplay.
Southee strides out. Can he find the fence in the two balls that remain?

Backward point.. extra cover, third man and fine leg in the circle
Zahoor is bowling around the wicket to Chapman, by the way, like he has done throughout this innings
Zahoor will bowl the final over. Can he keep NZ down to a sub-140 score?

Zubair Islam : "UAE is gifting runs ... first bowling no ball then letting them run a single to give strike to Chapman then letting him run three to keep strike" -- Agree, that was not the greatest sequence of cricket UAE will ever produce.
Right. NZ have 126 on the board already. Can they get up to 150? That could be a very good score on this surface. Here is Naseer to bowl the penultimate over
