Aamer Jamal: I'm over the moon, proud to be representing my country at this level. I think this a wonderful opportunity for me. It's been so long, still remember those days when I used to watch Pakistan team...I just back myself every-time even if I am conceding runs, when you try to go for wickets, you leak boundaries as well, coaching staff has given me a lot of confidence. (About his batting) we were seven down for 227, I think that partnership brought us back in the game. We are a couple of runs ahead of them and that matters."

Pakistan didn't take long to wrap up the tail, and Aamer Jamal was spitting fire after Tea, what was in that tea? Pakistan have a slender lead, but they will have their work cut out. The pitch has uneven bounce and plenty of rough areas, which will assist Nathan Lyon. Pakistan had a good passage of play and they need to carry on the momentum. The seasoned pace trio won't make things easy. The debutant takes his guard; both openers were dismissed on zero in the first innings so this another opportunity for them to step up and make a name for themselves. Pakistan have to believe they can survive

Aamer Jamal to Hazlewood, OUT, Flings the bat out and the outside edge is drawn. Jamal is on fire! He's an aberration! A captain's delight! Finishes the job quickly as he induces a false shot! Thumped hard into the deck and gets it to kick off the surface, ball held its line on fifth stump outside off and he has wild hack at the ball, gets a thick edge and it sticks in the hands of Agha Salman in the slip cordon who pouches it down his throat, he's an exceptional fielder but this is the moment that belongs to Aamer Jamal! It's his 17th wicket in this series, what an incredible performance from this all-rounder, it's his first series and he has already made a significant impact.

Aamer Jamal to Lyon, OUT, Edged and taken? This was a shortish ball banged in on a nagging off stump line, he thrusts the bat at it and got a tickle through to Saud Shakeel at gully, third umpire is checking if it's a clean catch, the fingers are underneath the ball. Umpire taking his time and watching it from different camera angles. That last angle from behind gives him conclusive evidence and the decision on the big screen is OUT. Take a bow for Jamal who has been the standout brightspot for Pakistan; he picks up a fifer after a valiant 82-run knock. This Test match keeps getting better and better for him, it's been a special performance.

Aamer Jamal to Cummins, OUT, Shrieking for a lbw and the finger doesn't go up! It looked very close in real time, hits him plumb in front of the stumps but there was a sound and that could have created a doubt. Impact in line, wicket hitting, crashing fully onto the leg stump and it's all over. Jamal gets his second in the over and the on-field umpire changes his decision. It was low full bunger that dipped in and he wasn't expecting it at all, totally flummozed by the ball, tried to jam his bat down but by the time it came down, it was too late as the ball thumped his pads
