9.20pm So, Australia wrap up a mammoth 111-run victory. It was set up by their new captain Mitch Marsh, who smashed a 22-ball half-century. Tim David then launched from the platform and powered Australia to 226 for 6 - the highest T20I total at Kingsmead. Debutant Tanveer Sangha then joined Australia's party with a four-wicket haul. SA never got going in their chase and folded for 115 with 27 balls unused in their chase. That's all we have for you from this game. Until next time, this is Deivarayan Muthu signing off on the behalf of Abhimanyu Bose and P Ranjith. Cheers.

Markram, SA captain: The wicket played really well and there was a bit of rust in every discipline. That's no excuse for me and opportunities for new guys. It felt and looked a bit rusty and we have to come back strong on Friday. We want to be competitive and win games for the country.

Mitchell Marsh, Australia captain and Player of the Match: Always nice to start a three-match series win a win and to score runs. I mean there's a long process with injury and proud to be back and playing for Australia. Nice to contribute for the team. I thought Tim David was fantastic and the way he took pressure off me. I was playing a lot of Test cricket and missed my swing towards the end. Sangha has done well in the Big Bash and he's a fantastic talent.
