7.1 Davies breaks through, and Smith's party is over! Back of a length just outside off. Smith sits back and has an ungainly hack across the line. Gets a massive top edge and the ball swirls towards short third. Elwiss settles under it and does the rest. A sprightly cameo, but someone else will have to take up the mantle now! 53/2
3.2 goes straight up, and Ismail's pace does the trick yet again! Sharp bumper just outside off and this keeps climbing up on Scrivens. She has a swipe at it but because she is so late on the stroke, the ball spoons straight up. Bryce calls early and completes a fairly regulation catch. Ismail on the board early, and the Rockets lose a wicket inside the powerplay! 21/1
16.1 big lbw shout, and given! Zinged in very full on leg stump. NSB shapes for the reverse but picks a ball that is too full to be playing that stroke. Seems to play all around it and gets pinged on the boot. Jonassen's appeal was spontaneous and the umpire's decision was also quite prompt. NSB chats to her skipper and then decides to walk off. Big moment in the game! 120/3
17.2 nicked and gone! Oh wow! This is the bouncer that Matthews bowls from time to time. Angled across on a middle and off line, and Gardner, almost as a reflex action, has a swipe at it. Only manages a feather though, and Bryce gobbles up a sharp chance. Gardner cannot believe what she has done, but she has to trudge off, with 13 balls still left in the innings! 131/4

19.3 has Ismail done enough?! Looks like she has! Slot ball outside off and King's eyes light up. She winds up and launches it flat towards long on. Ismail has a grab at it initially and parries it. She then watches the ball carefully, though, and holds onto the rebound. Not the cleanest catch of all time, but well done in the end by Ismail! 143/5
19.4 shanked into the air, and Davies has two in two! Slower ball on a length on middle stump. Grewcock wants to go downtown but is too early into the stroke. Not sure she picked the variation and all she manages is a lob straight up. Bryce calls early and completes the catch in the short square leg region! 143/6

9.2 simple return catch, and Gardner is turning this game around! Hangs it up outside off and holds the length back after seeing Dunkley advance. Dunkley is not to the pitch of the ball but pushes at it anyway. Chips it straight back to Gardner, who accepts the offering with glee. The Fire in a spot of bother now! 67/4
2.3 off the pads, and into the stumps! Beaumont has to go! This is very full again, curving back in sharply towards the pads. Beaumont plays all over it, having not accounted for the swing, and the ball brushes the back leg before thundering into the stumps. Stonehouse on the board early! 14/1
6.5 knocks her over! Gardner has the last laugh! Flighted up beautifully just outside off and this seems to drop on Matthews late. She wants to go inside-out but ends up playing inside the line. She was probably expecting the ball to turn more, but when it did not, it had an uninterrupted path to the stumps. Massive moment in the game! 57/2
7.5 through her, and King makes it two wickets in quick succession for the Rockets! Fizzed through on a length on middle and off, and this seems like the slider or the top-spinner. Elwiss looks to play too square on the off side and is completely foxed as the ball goes straight on. Middle stump knocked back, and the Rockets are turning the screw now! 59/3
10.2 in the air, and taken this time! King gets her fellow Aussie, and that could be the game! Googly tossed up outside off. Jonassen hares down, looking to go inside out. Does not quite get to the pitch of the ball, though, and Jonassen slices across it too much. Stonehouse runs back from cover, keeps her eyes in the ball and takes it over her shoulder! 75/5
17.3 yet another stumping, and the Fire are being doused rather swiftly here! Darted in on a length just outside off. Bryce hares down, without really gauging the length and proceeds to have a wild swish at it. Misses the ball completely and Threlkeld does the rest behind the stumps! 111/9
14.1 chopped on, and Griffiths perishes! Back of a length outside off. Griffiths gives herself room, trying to access the off side. The ball, though, holds in the surface just enough to meddle with her timing. A smidgen early on the cut and all she manages is an inside edge onto off stump! 101/6
15.2 stumped by a mile! Fizzed through again, on a length on off stump. Drifts in and then grips in the surface to snake past the outside edge. Davis, having come down the track to negate the spin, is nowhere to the pitch oft he ball and that is an easy stumping for Threlkeld! 105/7
17.1 another stumping! Smart bowling again, with Gordon pulling back her length outside off. Davies advances but is nowhere close to the pitch of the ball. Runs past it in the end and some more stumping practice for Threlkeld behind the stumps! 110/8
