Kirstie Gordon: "I just think we had them in a really good position, and then that last turn was probably a bit frustrating on my part. [Dropped catch] Stumps got in my way. But I think we're happy with that at the halfway stage. I feel like we bowled pretty well there and kept them to probably just around a par or below-par score. We know there's been cricket on there already in the last couple of weeks, so we knew there'd probably be a little bit in it for the bowlers, and there was, but it still played pretty true, especially through the power play. It's our last game here. We played three other games here, and we've been on tricky surfaces, so hopefully we're used to kind of having to navigate those, and obviously we've done bowling on it already. Hopefully, that gives the batters a little head start."

Will: "Lamb's career high for total runs in a Hundred series has been a welcome sight for the Phoenix in a lacklustre campaign. Hopefully she can build on that next year and get a little more support."

4:10 pm The Phoenix should be happy with the way they managed to finish the innings in the end. Their innings got off to a difficult start as opener Voll was dismissed early, trying to go over the infield but only managing to gift her wicket away off a leading edge to backward point. Ellyse Perry also looked to be in fine touch until she was holed out at long-off. The momentum, however, shifted when Emma Lamb was dropped on 21 by Graham. Lamb went on to play a superb knock, remaining unbeaten with a well-struck 56 runs off 42 balls. A late surge of 44 runs in the last five sets also changed the course of the innings. The pitch was slow and a bit tacky, offering plenty of turn for the spinners, likely due to the earlier rain. The spinners were dominant with the ball, as Gordon picked up two wickets while King and Gardner took one. However, a few dropped catches, missed run-out opportunities, and runs leaked at the end could come back to haunt them later on.
