That's it from Espncricinfo's coverage of this game. We hope you enjoyed our coverage. You may tune into the Men's 100 game which starts in about 50 minutes. For now, it's goodbye and goodnight from Rvel Zahid and the rest of the crew
Beth Mooney, Manchester Originals Captain: Pretty clinical towards the end. To keep them down to 111 was an amazing effort. We joked that one big partnership would win us the game, and I'm happy that worked out. Bowling first, we read the wicket pretty well...it was a bit of an anomaly that some spun so much. The outfield was quick, so if you played nice shots, you got full value for them. I've got excellent support staff around me; they've (middle order batters) done a lot of the heavy lifting. The planning has been spot on, so I really just have to make a couple of decisions out there. Mahika has been a really strong addition to the group; she swings the ball up front. Kathryn Bryce has been unbelievable--she's such an unflappable character. (Mentions that Sophie and the other bowlers have been fantastic too). Dottin is great fun, always thinking about the game...she's a bit of a character and it's nice to have her around. In the last game, it looked like she was batting on a completely different wicket, which makes my life a lot easier. We've played on some pretty tired wickets, so being able to adapt is key in these tournaments. We've been on the road for a couple of days, (take some days off)...so for us, it's about making sure we keep a calm and composed environment
Beth Mooney and Kathryn Bryce stitch a match-winning partnership to register a thumping win over a hapless Trent Rockets side, who have simply not clicked as a unit and once again failed to pose any threat. They were bundled out for a low score, with no one able to play an impactful knock, and then had no answers to the openers' calculated innings. Manchester Originals' bowling attack was far more superior, boasting multiple match-winners -- Lauren Filer, Sophie Ecclestone, and Kathryn Bryce were all on top of their game, especially at the death. A lop-sided contest where MO never seemed in trouble
