Kira Chathli: "I am quite happy with that. Bowled well up top, and we were only sort of a run a ball off in the power play. So I'm pretty happy with how that ended for me. I think it did get easier when the ball stopped swinging. It will be kind of who can hit their lengths for the longest period of time when they bowl at the stumps. It was hard to get away. When I came off, I was sort of thinking, if we can get to 160, we'll be very happy with that, as it is a good wicket. All the girls will have different strengths. I'm just glad I'm not a bowler on this wicket [laughter]."
3:50 pm London Spirit had a shaky start, losing opener Redmayne in the very first over after she chased a wide delivery and was caught out. Despite the slow beginning, they ultimately posted a massive total. Kira Chathli changed the momentum with a few quick boundaries, getting the Spirit's innings going. Grace Harris then joined in, and together they easily exploited loose deliveries, finding gaps for boundaries. Chathli did most of the damage, setting the tone with a quickfire 69 runs off just 35 balls before she was dismissed. Harris's wonderful cameo of 34 runs off 15 deliveries also boosted the total. The Phoenix's fielding was poor, as they dropped catches and had sloppy ground fielding. For the Phoenix, Em Arlott was once again the standout bowler, taking three wickets, while Schutt bagged two.
