Manchester Originals register a thumping win in what turned out to be a one-sided affair. They never really gave Welsh Fire a realistic chance after bundling them out for just 73. Originals, in response, stumbled a bit and slowed down midway, but woke up just at the right time to accelerate, and their attacking tactics paid off. Fire's bowlers did well in patches but simply didn't have enough runs on the board to make it a close contest. Hayley, Davies, and Jonassen picked up a wicket each and exploited the conditions well. Earlier, Mahika Gaur was the standout performer, delivering a terrific fast-bowling spell that'll be one for the season highlights. She bowled 10 balls on the trot and sent Fire into a frenzy inside the powerplay. Sophie Ecclestone then spun a big web, picking up two wickets and keeping things tight. Fire could never really break free. Lauren Filer bowled quick, hit the right areas, and picked up three wickets, almost snaring a hat-trick. A complete performance and a non-sweaty day at the office for the Originals. Some soul-searching ahead for Fire, who will be desperate to get back to winning ways. That's it from this game, it's goodbye from me, Rvel Zahid, and from our team at ESPNCricinfo.

Mahika Gaur, Match Hero: Feels really good. Great effort by the bowlers. Conditions were good - was swinging early - so I'm really happy with that. Last game was so close; it just shows that when we play our best, we can beat any team.

Ismail to Smale, FOUR, over the wicket, thumped hard into the surface and short angling towards middle, clubbed a pull off the middle in front of deep midwicket and it skittles away to the rope, finally they get one off the middle and get their wish of finishing with a boundary

Jonassen to Dottin, no run, drama towards the end as they keep looking to finish it on style but keep looking ugly while looking for the one big hit, tries to have it over leg side and gets a thick inside; perilously close to dragging it back onto the stumps. Darted on a length and drifted in sharply, cramping her for room

Jonassen to Smale, 1 run, tossed quicker on a shorter length on middle, she swivels and goes for a fully powerpacked pull and it went up in air for a while, keeper ran back to her left and the ball swooped in front of her, couldn't latch onto it

Jonassen to Bryce, OUT, around the wicket, slows it down at snail speed and beats her in the flight as she looked for. glory shot and came down the wicket to whack it over long-on, ball kept low and spun back, sharp stumping but she has done the job! Excellent innings and knit a match-winning partnership
