12:44pm So, the Superchargers have huffed and puffed their way to 102. It could have been a lot worse had their skipper not made an unbeaten 36 off 28. Sutherland was the only other batter to cross 15, and that sort of sums up how their innings went. Much of that was down to how well the Brave bowlers adapted to the conditions. They kept the stumps in play for a majority of the innings, and made the batters take undue risks.
This pitch does look trickier than others earlier in the competition, but the Brave, on their patch, and with the firepower in their batting department, will fancy their chances of getting the job done. Join us in a bit for the chase!
Lauren Bell: (On her right wrist) It is alright, just got a bit of a sore thumb, but all good. (On her bowling) I am happy. Happy to be doing the job for the team. (Bowling plans) We know this pitch and keeping the stumps in play is really important. Tried to do that today. (On the pitch) I was very surprised they had a bat. It is tricky, it is slow and sticky. Hopefully we can chase this and keep the ball on the floor. The spinners have been unbelievable. They go under the radar sometimes, but they close the middle of the game, and allow us to do what we do (at the back end).
