Raji: "What a knock by Deepti and Gibson!"
12:45pm A solid batting display by the home side. Lanning set it up at the start, even though she did not race out of the traps immediately. There was a brief wobble in the middle and it felt London Spirit would undo their early good work by virtue of it. Deepti and Gibson, though, rolled up their sleeves post that mini-collapse. Gibson managed 41 off 25, while Deepti remained unbeaten on 39 off 26, eventually powering the hosts to what seems like a pretty defendable total.
Welsh Fire will not be too unhappy with their bowling display. They had to contend with a short side and a powerful batting line-up. That said, they might feel they passed up an opportunity, having reduced London Spirit to 61-4. Davies was the pick of their bowling bunch, supported ably by Davis and Jonassen. With the batting unit they have, they will be confident of getting the job done, although that is easier said than done. Join us in a bit for the run-chase!
All good to go now. Three legal balls left in this innings. Spirit on the verge of 150
The ball deflected off Bryce's helmet and the physio is now out to check on her. The helmet might need replacing, though
Long on, deep mid wicket and sweeper cover are the fielders outside the circle. Davies goes over the wicket
Davies to bowl the last set. Can London Spirit get to 155?
Welsh Fire have gone over-time, and they can now have just three fielders outside the ring. This penalty was applicable for the 95th ball as well, says Charles Dagnall on air
