4.35pm So, Fire finish on 123 for 6. Under-par, just about par? I'd go with just about par considering the dual-paced nature of the surface and that Fire lost wickets at regular intervals. They started off well with Beaumont and Bryce adding 41 runs off the opening wicket. But once Beaumont, Haynes and Bryce fell in quick succession without a lot of runs on the board, it seemed Fire would fail to cross 100. But Sutherland and Carey came in like a breath of fresh air. Carey got away three switch hits on the bounce while Sutherland remained unbeaten on 31 off 22 balls. Lauren Filer then finished off the innings on a high striking Gunn for a six off the final ball. Superchargers were excellent with the ball all the way, but those last runs could hurt them later. Back on with the chase with PDP in just a bit.

Gunn to Filer, SIX, Has she ended the innings on a high? Oh, yes, she has. Length outside off, she just gives herself just a bit of room, clears the front leg and thumps it over long off for a massive six. Ruins Gunn's figures just a bit.

Gunn to Filer, 2 runs, Length outside off, she shimmies down and chips it dead straight. Good fielding at long off, as they collect two.

Gunn to Sutherland, 1 run, Looks to go again, but does not underneath that. Drags it to long on
