10.26pm That concludes our ball-by-ball coverage of this astonishing semi-final. Andrew McGlashan will have all the reaction from the ground in his report. The Thunder progress to face the Melbourne Stars in Saturday's final after taking 6 for 12 to defeat the Heat who had the game all but won. Join us for the final on Saturday night. Until then, stay safe.
10.20pm Hannah Darlington is the Player of the Match for her 3 for 19: "Such an amazing effort by the girls. I think wow is the perfect word to describe it. I guess those high pressure situations are what I play cricket for. You can win games for your team. I really enjoy it."
Sydney Thunder win by 12 runs and head into the final to face the Melbourne Stars.
Not quite sure how that happened. The Heat needed 26 from 30 balls with 6 wickets in hand! They self destructed with two needless run outs in an over. Laura Kimmince still looked in control but she fell to Sam Bates with 15 needed from 19 balls and then Hannah Darlington took 2 for 1 in the 18th over to basically seal it.
The Heat's dream of a hat-trick of titles has gone up in a self-induced blaze.
