7.6 And Matthews breaks through! Harris shakes her head and walks back. The Matthews special bumper around off and middle, Harris arches back to pull it away but is not in control. Gets a top edge towards short fine leg, where Kamalini gobbles it up. Jhulan Goswami, MI's bowling coach and mentor, likes it and exults in the dugout. End of the 74-run opening stand for UPW, their best in WPL 2025 74/1
10.2 bowled! MI are back into this! Voll departs, and UPW have to rebuild now despite that high run rate. The ball was angled in, and landed on a length while swinging in. It pitched on off, and seamed in a bit to hit middle, even as Voll got across the stumps very early to try and scoop but missed. Massive blow for UPW 90/3
9.3 Taken on the second attempt! Navgire has thrown this away. Nicely tossed up from Kerr, it s the wrong'un. She dances down and loses shape while trying to go big but slices it in the air. Sisodia comes charging in from short third and fumbles in the first attempt but hangs on 84/2
19.3 stumped! Kerr has her fourth! She spots Deepti coming down the track, and fires this on a full length by going wide of off. The ball angled in from around the wicket and straightened. Deepti went swiping at it, but seemed to have been beaten by the ball straightening, and also the bounce. There was enough time for Bhatia to whip the bails off, with Deepti well out 145/8
14.4 taken at long-on! Ismail there was only halfway back at the boundary, and took the ball comfortably. Kerr had given this ball some loop, and landed it on a length on the stumps. Dinesh again skipped down the pitch, and this time went for the loft across the line, only to mistime it to continue UPW's fall after an incredible start 114/4
14.6 gone! Six and out for Henry! The length was exactly the same as the last time, but the line was a bit wide of off, and it was also the googly. Henry reached out and went lofting again, but could only slice it to long-off this time. I thought Kerr also slowed it down this time, which might have tricked Henry 120/5
15.3 ballooned for long-off! Again, the fielder takes it only halfway between the circle and the boundary. Matthews gave the ball some loop, and landed it on a fullish length around sixth stump. Sehrawat, like Henry, went launching at it, but only ended up sending it pretty high without getting any distance. UPW seriously sliding now 121/6
16.6 the extra ball results in a wicket! The previous ball didn't really look like a wide after that slow-motion replay, but it was given, and Chetry falls next ball. The ball was angled in, and arrived full and outside off. Chetry looked to slog across the line, but only got it as far as long-on. Good, low catch by Ismail 125/7
19.6 five wickets for Kerr! She angled this ball in, and landed it short on off. The ball turned away and bounced nicely, with Ecclestone looking to pull. The ball only went as far as deep midwicket, though, and ended Ecclestone's handy cameo 150/9

13.5 ballooned for mid-on! Matthews looks to slam another short delivery, but this time gets a top edge. Goud switched back to a slower ball, as she banged it around fifth stump. The ball came on to Matthews with a horizontal seam - and took its come coming - around off. She went pulling again, but this time seemed to be beaten by the lack of pace. Voll came in a few steps, and grabbed with a reverse cup 127/3
2.6 Kerr never looked settled and Henry and UPW have the opening! Digs it in the surface again, the hard length on middle and leg, Kerr shapes to loft it over mid-on but miscues it. It goes high off her bat and straight into the waiting hands of Harris 24/1
12.4 nabbed by Deepti! Superb catch! She was placed somewhere at short midwicket, and threw herself to her right to grab this. Short in length again around off, and pulled by NSB but without any placement 116/2
16.3 spooned for backward point! Harmanpreet got a short delivery which was wide outside off, and she couldn't keep her attempted cut down. I think there was some extra bounce for Harris too, and although Harmanpreet did well to shift her weight back before trying to slap at it, she ended up playing aerially 137/4
