Kauralicious: "Mark my words, MI is gonna defend it."

9:04pm And so, the Mumbai Indians stutter and stumble their way to 123. It seemed they were on course for a much bigger total, especially when Matthews and Bhatia struck a few early boundaries. Both of them got tied down after it, though, and the likes of Harmanpreet, Sciver-Brunt and Kerr were not able to arrest that slide either. Amanjot did find the fence a couple of times but her decision to keep taking singles in the last over perhaps rid MI of a few runs.

As for DC, well, they did not do a lot wrong with the ball or in the field. They came back strongly in the back half of the powerplay and continued turning the screw. Jonassen picked up three, as did Minnu Mani, with the others chipping in, either by keeping the scoring down or by picking up crucial wickets. They will fancy their chances of getting this done, and will definitely be the happier side at the break. Join us in a bit for the chase!

Annabel Sutherland: (On the catch to dismiss Kerr) Just glad to hold onto it. It held in the air for a bit. Hopefully ticked off my high-speed numbers there. (On her mom being stone-faced after the catch) She (my mum) has watched her fair share of cricket, but good to have her here. We adjusted really well to the conditions, got into our lengths and were able to take wickets all through, which is key on grounds like this. Nice for the quicks (to have a slip in play until later in the innings). During the middle, we put a hold on their innings. (On Jonassen) You know what you are going to get, such a competitor and a wicket-taker. (On the chase) We are going to take the game on, looking forward to seeing Meg and Shafali. Hopefully we can get the chase done.

Sutherland to Kalita, OUT, Kalita has been run out at the bowler's end, but Amanjot manages to get across to the striker's end! Slower ball hung up on a back of a length wide outside off. Kalita misses and Amanjot scampers across, which leaves her partner high and dry. Sutherland gathers the throw from Bryce and takes off the bails to catch her well short of her ground. Amanjot, it must be said, seemed to back up quite a bit and took off very early, which, obviously, was not spotted in time by Sutherland to effect a run-out of the non-striker while backing up. Either way, Mumbai Indians end up with 123!

Sutherland to AB Kaur, 1 run, off-pace and into the track on off stump. Amanjot takes her eyes off it and heaves it on the bounce to deep backward square leg. And they take the single again. Puzzling, puzzling stuff...

Sutherland to Kalita, 1 bye, Amanjot pinches a bye! Back of a length wide outside off. Kalita fences at it and misses. Amanjot, while all this is happening, is off for the single and gets there, helped by a dive and Bryce missing the stumps

Sutherland to Kalita, 1 wide, called a wide! Banged into the track on middle and leg, perhaps as a riposte to the batter advancing. Kalita ducks under it hurriedly and then sees the umpire signal a wide. It was called a wide on height, and DC have duly reviewed! The replay is taking awfully long to build. Seems a touch high and the third umpire agrees with that assessment, despite Kalita having advanced. Wide call stays!

Sutherland to Kalita, no run, dug into the track outside off. Kalita has a nibble at it and is beaten on the outside. Bryce does enough to prevent the bye as well

Sutherland to AB Kaur, FOUR, clever, clever shot! Back of a length just outside off. With short third in the ring, Amanjot knows where the gap is. She unfurls the reverse and helps it delightfully past short third!

Kalita in at 10. At the other end for now. Amanjot on strike for the start of the 20th, which will be bowled by Sutherland

Mani to Gupta, OUT, holes out to Rodrigues at deep mid wicket! Flighted up full on middle and leg. Gupta advances and swings at it with all her might. Much better connection than the last ball but not enough to clear the fence. Easy catch for Rodrigues, who caps off the completion of the catch with a bit of floss!

Jonassen to Kamalini, OUT, off stump knocked back, and Jonassen has done the youngster all ends up here! Tossed up beautifully outside off. The ball goes above the eye-line, prompting a huge swish, only to then dip deliciously. Kamalini, of course, does not account for it, and swings over the trajectory of the ball, which then crashes into off stump. DC have MI on the mat here!

Mani to Kerr, OUT, what a catch by Annabel Sutherland, and the Delhi Capitals flags are flying at the Chinnaswamy! Shortish on the stumps and this seems to just stick in the surface. Kerr shapes to pull but the lack of pace, plus the extra bounce, means she top-edges it. Sutherland tears in from long on, tracks it all the way and then sprawls forward to complete a magnificent catch. MI stunned after the time-out!
