mukhtar : "what happened at 18.1over. why warehem faced two consecutive balls" -- There was a bit of confusion. Wareham has begun the over on strike and the first ball, which went for a single, was deemed a dead ball. Hence, she was back on strike for the ball that she was ultimately dismissed off.

9:07pm Another RCB innings, and another Ellyse Perry special. She is making a habit of this, and in two home games this season, she has powered RCB to totals that they will feel they can defend. Apart from Perry, Wyatt-Hodge was the only other batter who got stuck in, and she registered her first fifty for RCB this season.

The Warriorz would have been largely happy with how they bowled, although they would have wanted to concede fewer during that middle-overs phase where Wyatt-Hodge and Perry took them on. Ecclestone was their most-economical bowler, with Henry also doing well, until her last. The Warriorz would have ideally wanted to chase lesser than this score, but that said, will be hoping their stroke-makers can flourish like RCB's did. Join us in a bit for the chase!

Ellyse Perry, the Orange Cap holder: It was pretty good battle out there between the two teams. There is a bit in the pitch, a bit of pace tonight. A great tussle, Danni did a great job and the way the girls contributed - it was awesome. First time I have had a chance to play with her (Wyatt-Hodge), it was fun. Once we found the pace of the pitch, it was easier but we had to work hard (for it). We spoke about the conditions here. Had a chance to play a game here already. If you can get a solid base after the first ten, you can accelerate from there. They bowled quite well. Not losing too many wickets in the first ten gives you a platform. Definitely a competitive total, will have to bowl well. Slightly different wicket from the last game. And yeah, I am available to bowl, let's see how that goes.

Ecclestone to Perry, 1 run, OUT, sensational bit of work in the field to cap off the innings! Low full toss just outside off. Perry advances and drills it towards long off. Garth was always going to come back for two and is favourite to get there, especially with the throw being wild and wide. Ecclestone, though, does superbly to gather well away from the stumps and then back-flick it onto timber. Stunning awareness and execution, and RCB end up with 180!

KJ Garth run out 2 (6m 2b 0x4 0x6) SR: 100

Sharma to Wareham, OUT, oh dear - catastrophe for RCB! This is a little shorter outside off. Wareham jams it towards cover point and then gets called through for a non-existent single. Wareham realises one of the batters will have to be run-out and decides that that batter should be her. Tries to get across to the bowler's end but is not even in the frame as the throw is relayed to Deepti, who takes off the bails!

G Wareham run out 7 (6m 5b 1x4 0x6) SR: 140

Deepti to bowl the penultimate over. RCB eyeing 180

McGrath to Perry, 2 runs, back of a length on the stumps. Perry works it towards deep mid wicket and calls for two. The second seems a risky proposition but Perry puts on her stakes and then sprawls across the turf to make it. A better and stronger throw might have had her in trouble

Sharma to Ahuja, OUT, initially an lbw appeal, but looks like Ahuja has been run out! Flighted up on a length on middle and leg. Ahuja, ambitiously, looks for the reverse and makes a complete mess of it. Gets rapped on the front pad and Deepti is adamant she has dismissed her lbw. She even gestures to review but while all that is happening, Ahuja goes walkabouts and is caught short of her ground by a very alert Uma Chetry. Or so it seems. The umpires have referred it upstairs just to be sure if Ahuja was short of her ground, and possibly also to check if it was an lbw because the lbw, if all is good, should take precedence over a stumping dismissal. No bat involved and Ball Tracking reckons the ball would have only clipped the outside of off stump. Umpire's Call on that count, but Ahuja is a mile outside her crease. So it will be a run-out dismissal, and RCB have been dented again!

KS Ahuja run out 5 (8m 3b 1x4 0x6) SR: 166.66

Deepti to bowl the 17th. Over the wicket to Ahuja
