And Sciver-Brunt has been stranded at the other end. The story was quite different when she was going great guns with Harmanpreet for company. They took the attack to DC after the powerplay, scoring 40 off the three overs immediately after. But once Harmanpreet fell, Sciver-Brunt was left searching for partners and found none. Shikha Pandey: "To take wickets with the new ball, because it was not going to do much after the fifth over. Dew was to come on later, so aim was to use the swing early. [Chat during Sciver-Brunt-Harmanpreet stand] With Meg it is always about staying calm. She said, it is one wicket and we are back in the game. Belsy [Sutherland] got us the wicket and we were back in the game. I am backing my batters to score those runs. Flat batting wicket, first four overs with the new ball does the trick."
