Dewald Brevis, Player of the Match: Absolutely (happy) for us to have a few wins on the bounce and play beautiful cricket. I am so excited for the boys! We played so great as a team and it's even better off the field. I have been working really hard in the off time. It's quiet time where you graft the game and speak to the people who really care and most importantly enjoy the game and play with a smile and do whatever you can for the team. I'm playing the way I was playing when I was a little boy and got onto the scene. There was a time when I listened quite a bit when you try too many things and be too clever for the game but I'm just watching the ball now. It's always a special place with all the little kids, and people of Pretoria and the support of the fans was really great and it was great to get a W for the team
The gulf was big between the sides. MI Cape Town proved too strong on the day and kept the standards high in this run-fest. They'll move to the top of the log. Pure joy for the Rashid Khan-led side and disappointment for Pretoria Capitals, who tried their level best, but their campaign now comes to an end. Hope they'll come back stronger next year. MI Cape Town won fairly comfortably in the end and the damage done by the batters earlier which gave that extra cushion to the bowlers. It's a fantastic venue and a great surface where you get value for your shots and we saw the ball flying to all nooks and corners tonight. Pretoria Capitals did control the run rate earlier but the task became progressively arduous with wickets falling quite regularly and Rashid's timely incisions changed the complexion of the game too
