Scorer: Ranjith P | Commentator: Rashad Mahbub

That is all of our action for today. I'm signing off on behalf of Alan, Harshith, Ranjith, and myself, Rashad. Adios!

MI Cape Town Captain Rashid Khan: "I think it was that kind of win for us, especially in the last stage of the competition, it's quite important each game. The way we started with the ball throughout and then with the bat was absolutely amazing. It was much needed for me, especially taking some wickets which I haven't taken much in this competition. But still, I feel like the more important was how we bowled in the first six overs and then in such a wicket I think it's very important for you as a bowling unit that you take advantage of that new ball and then restrict the runs as possible in the first 10 years and we know this wicket is playing so well, so anything is possible. But I think everyone the way responded in the first ten overs and even till the end as well was amazing to us. Well, you know, the way they (Klaasen and Kane) batted from 22 for four and took the game to 150 was a brilliant partnership between Kane and Klaasen. But as a team we had that in mind around, 160-170 is going to be something we always have and it doesn't matter. Whatever the situation offers us at the early part of the game. This game this wicket is very good. The ground is good. So don't be surprised if they give us a Target of 150. So as a team, we had that mentality of chasing around that score. We have chased against the Joburg as well here. So, the mentality should be, that they are chasing that kind of total while there is the wicket. The Wicket is behaving nicely. The ball is coming nicely. So it doesn't matter, what the target is. We have to go with a positive mindset and positive intent. (Rickelton) Yeah, he has learned enough from the last two years. The way he has been contributing to the team is outstanding, especially with the Power Play and I think in T20 it's quite important. If you have that kind of start in the Power Play either with the bat or ball but the way that he has been delivering with Rassie (van der Dussen) supporting him, on the other hand, it is outstanding and definitely it really counts in such total while chasing. Gives you a very good clearance and the idea of taking that bonus point, and I feel like Power Play is a main road and like handling someone who goes after and just playing his natural game."

Durban's Super Giants Captain Keshav Maharaj: "Honestly very disappointed (with the match) but I think if you look at it probably lost our way in the Power Play when we first started with the bet. Kudos to Klassy (Klassen) and Kane for giving us a compatible score. We could get about better but probably too many boundary balls in that phase and then never got back from there. I think it's probably to tell you about the season. It's been that sort of season-wise, but yeah, it has been frustrating and disappointing. I think for everyone just as, not just from here as a Skipper. To put in the processes you come on a high velocity to finish where we are so far. It is a bit disappointing, but the boys are still motivated. Still have two games to submit some fight and who knows, carry some momentum into next year. (Positives from today's match) I think to see the character come back from being 24-4. Classy (Klassen) and Kane come through and then there are lots of glimpses with the body that we can be very proud of the fielding looked a lot better and a little bit more tightly maintained today so keep building on those and take the positives that we can. Look at the negatives and try to get some better into the next game."

Player of the Match Heinrich Klassen: "It's been a long frustrating campaign. It's too late. And yeah, it's been terrible. I've been there before (struggling with batting form) so I know exactly what to do. It's just so frustrating. But it's part of the game and you need to get yourself out of there and it's a bit of a bitter pill to swallow that it's a little bit too late. (Relaxed today at the crease) Nah, I was quite relaxed. I've been hitting them all nicely and I've been doing all the right things. It's just part of the game, and I've been finding ways to get out and the previous ball in the game before. So it's just been terrible and it's been unpleasant but I still had the confidence that I'm hitting the ball nicely, and I actually wanted to bat a little bit de. and just give myself a little bit longer time. The situation helped a little bit in there, but I knew I had to pull the trigger sometime. (Communication between Williamson) No, we just said, we're going to take it on like a One-Day game. Just bat for a little bit, make sure we're there till the 14th over and then we can make a play. Wait for the bad balls. Just make sure that our strike rotation is good and he plays these situations so well, so it's nice to spend some time out there. (Impressed with) His calmness. The way it's not fussed about how it looks and how to get runs. He displays the situation and makes sure it's there and making sure he's in the Run. So I think that's an attribute that any batter needs to look up to find ways to score runs. Even if it's not pretty, even if it's on difficult wickets, there's always a way to score runs. You don't always have to go 200 strike rate, you sometimes have to do as it all needs to be done and use it more."

Johann Kruger: "Linde should be MoM1/20 in 4 and a brutal knock that won MICT a vital bonus point."

The home team controlled all three fields during the match. They excelled in fielding and bowling, and their bat performance was as impressive. MICT started the innings strongly, scoring 68 runs in the Powerplay without losing a wicket. Rickelton struck a magnificent fifty to set the tone for the innings. Despite the fact that their innings slowed following Rickelton's departure, they still won the match with the bonus point. Brevis made a vital knock in the middle. George Linde entered the crease following Atal's wicket loss, having the freedom to swing at anything. Linde smashed 31 runs off eight balls and blasted four huge sixes along the way. Maharaj bowled excellently, taking one wicket and conceding only 23 runs in his four overs. However, he did not receive much support from his bowling unit, and the fielders missed catches. MI Cape Town wins comfortably and advances to second position in the points table.
