10pm Right. That will be that from us for this game. But the action does not stop in the SA20. In fact, we have two games tomorrow. Do join us for both matches tomorrow, with MI Cape Town, Joburg Super Kings, Paarl Royals and Durban's Super Giants all in action. Until then, this is me (Shashwat) signing off on behalf of Ranjith. Goodbye, goodnight and take care!
9:55pm A fairly comfortable victory for the Capitals in the end. They produced a superb batting effort, which was then backed up by an equally impressive bowling display. Nortje, in particular, breathed fire throughout his spell and caused the Sunrisers all sorts of problems with his sheer pace. The hosts could have batted better but take nothing away from what was a clinical bowling performance.
Speaking of the Sunrisers, well, they would be largely unhappy with how this game panned out. Apart from Smuts' fifty, and a brief rear-guard action by Abell, Fuller and Stubbs, there was not much to shout home about. This could, in all likelihood, be their strongest eleven too, meaning that they will have to figure out a way to make better use of their resources moving forward.
The Capitals can't get the bonus point now, and the Sunrisers can't win this game, unless there are No balls and wides
Parnell to bowl the last over
