7:15 pm In a do-or-die encounter for the Pretoria Capitals, who made five changes in their starting XI, including their usual skipper, they bowled and fielded excellently in the first innings. The Joburg Super Kings' scoreboard reads 99-9. Only three batters reached double figures. The pitch turned and bounced somewhat. Gideon Peters bowled with fury and took two wickets in his second over and turned the momentum towards Pretoria Capitals. The Super Kings struggled with tempo in their innings, losing wickets regularly in the middle overs. Bairstow was the highest run scorer of the night, with 30 runs off 32 balls. Today, all of the bowlers bowled excellently, maintaining crisp line and length. Pretorius claimed three wickets, while Peters and Muthusamy both took two. We'll return for the second innings after a short break.
