7:12 pm In a do-or-die match, the DSG struggled with the bat throughout the opening 10 overs. DSG lost their opening batter, Brandon King, in the second over after miscuing the slog shot to Hendricks near the ropes. Rashid picked up two wickets in successive deliveries in his first over of the innings, bringing the total to 24/4 after 7 overs. Williamson struck three boundaries for 14 runs from the 11th over, providing them with a much-needed lift. Klassen and Williamson had a successful middle-order partnership, scoring 121 runs off 79 deliveries. Klassen hit three consecutive sixes against Rashid Khan in the seventeenth over to reach fifty. Later on, Williamson hit a few big shots and scored 50. Only two batters reached double digits, which fully explains the Super Giants' smashing performance today. Boult and Linde bowled excellently throughout their respective bowling quotas, taking one wicket apiece. Rashid Khan took two wickets but was expensive in his final total. Don't go far, people; the run pursuit will start soon after a short break.
