7:12pm A frantic finish and SEC, despite not finding the fence as regularly as they would have wanted at the end, still get up to 165. Stubbs was front and centre of that charge, hustling and harrying the fielders whenever he got a chance. Markram batted sumptuously prior to his arrival, with Bedingham also playing his part in laying a solid foundation.

The Super Kings lacked the necessary penetration to keep picking wickets throughout. Sipamla, Tahir and Theekshana were tidy but on this track, where there was enough on offer, they will have wanted a little more from their bowlers, especially now that they have a tough chase on their hands. Join us in a bit for the second innings.

David Bedingham: Quite nice scoring some runs, feels like a par total, hopefully our bowlers can do the job. (On the pitch) Playing better than (last game) but it is still keeping a little low. (On the score) Very happy. The way we have been bowling, we definitely have enough. If we bowl well, we should have enough.

Sipamla to Jansen, 2 runs, slower ball on a full length on off. Jansen plants his front foot and whips it towards deep mid wicket. He tears back for the second and gets there with a sprawling dive
