9.45pm And that's a wrap from the Wanderers. Thanks for joining us, see you at Newlands for Saturday's final!
Faf du Plessis: "It was a really good batting performance from them, 100 from the last five was v disappointing, Klaasen has done that all season, incredible knock, took them 20 over par, and the two most consistent teams are into the final. We did really well to come back in the tournament, some great character in the dressing-room, but pound for pound we didn't play to our potential."
Keshav Maharaj: "Klaasen is just picking up where he left off, he hits the ball so cleanly and gave us something to bowl at. Not many hit the ball as consistently, a nightmare to bowl to. We've been true to our processes, our bowling unit was superb, executed the plan and kept it simple. Sunrisers are a strong side, we've just got to get going on the day."
The Player of the Match, unsurprisingly, is Heinrich Klaasen: "At the start they bowled incredibly well, no freebies, had to wait for Immie to come back, he was bowling full. No length to work with in first two overs. Just unlucky he missed a couple! The expectation is there, hopefully my processes keep going for another couple of years. I'm playing the middle phase well at the moment, and try to capitalise on that. We played poorly in the first semi-final against Sunrisers, hopefully we can rectify that."
9.29pm Handshakes all round as JSK's late rally in this competition is sawn off by the tournament's original pace-setters. Durban will meet Sunrisers in the final, which is the fitting end to the competition after their respective efforts in the group stage.
Dala caps the contest with 4 for 38, but this match was won by Heinrich Klaasen's latest fireworks. His preposterous 74 from 30 included the lion's share of two 29-run overs in the final six, after a somewhat ponderous first 14 overs. JSK were even ahead of the rate for much of their chase, but had no firepower to match that contribution, as their 69-run loss rather confirms.

AyBe: "Remarkable that both teams were on pretty much the same score after 10 overs (77/3 va 78/3) - shows the insane impact of Klaasen and also of Mulder"

Hari: "As a cricket fan, I have seen many games turn around but isn't it absurd to take a timeout when everything is done and dusted? On field umpires must be given some sort of control over this. Saves everybody's time." You'd have thought so...
