6.2 does him all ends up, and Salamkheil leaves his mark early! Fizzed through on a length on middle and leg stump. Chand does not pick the leg-spinner from the hand and hopes to do so off the pitch. The ball, though, zips through after pitching and Chand, stuck on the crease, cannot react in time. The ball bursts through his defences and smashes into the stumps. Knight Riders two down, and in a spot of bother now! 41/2
5.3 deceived in the air, and Fletcher holes out to long off! This is beautiful bowling. Harmeet tosses it up on a length just outside off, and the ball drops devilishly on Fletcher. He cannot get close to it, despite advancing, but continues with his swing anyway. Skews it off the outer half of the bat and Ali Sheikh, on as a sub fielder, makes no mistake on the fence. Harmeet has something to show for his toil, and there will be no further fireworks from the Spiceman tonight! 39/1

7.4 goes straight up, and Mayers holds on, eventually! Hard length, slanting into off stump. Rutherford has an ugly swipe across the line and gets a fat top edge. Mayers, stood at short third, calls for it early and chases after it to his right. Has a go at it, and then another, and then another before ultimately pouching it. Ayan Desai is absolutely pumped; Rutherford, quite dejected as he walks off! 48/3
14.3 goes a mile, but not enough distance this time! Salamkheil has two! Slowed up on a fullish length just outside leg, tempting Badar into the slog. He goes after it (of course he does) but for a change, does not time it the way he wants. The bat face opens upon contact too and he only finds Klaasen on the long on fence. A sprightly cameo, but Badar is disappointed with the way it has ended! 129/4

0.2 straight to Dre Russ, and Holder is on the board early! Back of a length outside off, shaping away slightly. Brown stands up tall, trying to lift it over mid off but the ball comes right off the toe-end. Picks out Russell to absolute perfection, and Brown, replacing Warner, walks back for a two-ball duck! 0/1
12.1 and that is exactly what they get! The Spiceman comes to the party, and Jahangir has to trudge off! This is bowled short outside off, asking Jahangir to fetch it. He backs himself to slap it over long off but does not muster the requisite power. Arrows it flat towards long off, where Fletcher runs in and lunges forward to pick it up inches off the turf. A slight tap at the LAKR badge follows, and Sangha has broken this game wide open again! 126/3
11.3 no need for DRS this time, and Jones perishes after a brisk 73! Cross-seam, on a fullish length on leg stump. Jones' eyes light up but he does not quite get the elevation or the power he is after. Clinks it off the bottom half of the bat and that brings SvS into play at long on. He charges in, judges it to perfection and completes the catch with minimal fuss. An excellent tone-setting knock, and Jones has put the Orcas on course for their second win this season! 119/2
12.3 two wickets in the over, and it is all going pear-shaped for the Orcas now! Fizzed through on a shortish length on middle and leg. Sticks in the surface and spins away just enough to cause the miscue. Klaasen was shaping for that favoured pull of his but only manages a toe-ender that is gobbled up at deep mid wicket by Powell. LAKR, all of a sudden, on top! 127/4

15.3 Dre Russ does the trick, and Russell answers the Knight Riders' prayers yet again! This is, truth be told, a slot ball on off stump, but Raza, somehow, does not send it out of the park. Shanks it terribly and the ball floats towards Holder at long off. He completes the catch well inside the fence, and Raza walks back utterly miffed at his exploits! 160/5
