Gets it straighter than he wants, though, and that brings Jansen, stood at wide long off, into play. He tracks the ball every bit of the way and then snaffles it up with a slide forward. Not quite out of the middle, though, and that brings Smith into play at wide long off. 19.5 big appeal, and given! Savage reviews, though! Slanted in on a length on middle and leg. Savage looks for the reverse and the ball seems to come off the glove. The umpire does not think so, though, and raises his finger. Well, what do we know! The ball has missed the glove and smashes Savage flush on the back leg.
