That's all from us tonight. We look forward to your company in the final. Cheers!

Srividya : "Yet another MI story of resurgence. They are clear favorites to lift the MLC 2025 title !"

Neil: "We will have a repeat champion this year, either a second for WSF or for MINY, just in the third season"

Nagesh Nayak: "King Pollard, how MI misses your clutch gene..from faithful MI fan"

USACricFan: "whatever you think of it, MINY won the games that they've needed to. 1 more baby!"

Faf du Plessis, Texas Super Kings Captain: Very disappointing. I thought we were excellent right through the campaign, finished second on the log, some really good consistent cricket. Even tonight, scrapping hard, losing the toss, getting a really good total. It's a little bit easier to bat in the night... but still, two guys at the end batted really well. Obviously very disappointing...Definitely a lot slower, a lot more two-paced, even more grip. I would have taken that score. Dropping Pollard twice, two extremely tough chances with the wind blowing, but you know, if we get through him, that backbone is broken. Hosein has been excellent for us, bowled really well up front. Then there was a case of holding him back... trying to see if we can get Pooran out, and then he's definitely in the match. But Pollard being such a dangerous player to left-arm spin, so it's a fifty-fifty call. We were consistently talking about him, is it the right time? But he has been excellent for us. We worked really hard to get to the top two, and you're hoping to get a crack to get straight to the final, but it wasn't the case for us. Obviously coming here tonight and making sure to play against the team which has been average throughout the season but (they were sharp). It's been really good to see a season where a lot of boys stepped up, and that's what you want to see in a competition. It's been the local guys who have been putting up performances. So for us, from year one to year three, we have become a better squad, and we have good players on the bench, good signs moving forward, and also the competition that the local boys are doing well.

Nicholas Pooran, MI New York Captain: Not sure how we got to the finals but we are in the finals now. The coaching staff, senior players have done a fantastic job. They shared their experiences and senior player like Pollard led from the front. We were happy to restrict them to 166. Akeal Hosein played beautifully. We knew they had the bowlers and it won't be easy. The big man there, he is defying age. He shared his experience with everyone and really happy to share the dressing room. The guys are learning, they are hungry. They want to be a part of the tournament. Special mention to Monank. Anything can happen in the final and we are embracing this journey

Kieron Pollard, Player of the Match: I think intent from the first ball. Noor knew they were keeping him for me as a match-up. It was just a matter of, "I'm here." Again, having Nicky in the end, he was anchoring through, wanted to stay till the end. It's about backing yourself and understanding what is needed. Once it's in my area, I'll take it. The conversations were simple. Thought it was a really good wicket compared to the one we played on in the quarter-final. We found ourselves in a spot of bother. It was about understanding the match-ups and what was needed. There were a couple of overs they did well. Adam was up there in the 90s. We wanted to stay there and knock the singles, then go for the boundaries later. (On prep for the big occasion) Firstly, we should not be here, in all honesty, the way we have played, but we are here, so we might as well come and play. I knew the team is depending on me. These are the games you want to stand up as an individual.

Stoinis to Pooran, SIX, That is typical Nicky P; thrives in tricky situations and ends the match in stunning style! A magnificent pull and he sends it into the stands over deep square. It's the second time that MINY have qualified for the final -- a come-from-behind journey this season, waking up from their slumber just at the right time. Things got a bit tense in the middle overs but the vast experience of Pollard and Pooran came in handy as they navigated through choppy waters and took their side to the doorstep of victory. Commiserations to TSK for a stellar campaign but often it happens that teams who are consistent in the group stage fumble in the big games. A couple of dropped chances hurt them badly in this one and some ragged work in the outfield - tough chances under lights - cost them dearly

Stoinis to Pollard, 1 run, yorker dipping in at middle, worked in front of deep midwicket for a run

Stoinis to Pollard, FOUR, lands it on a shorter length and is wide of off, pace off, no problems whatsoever for Pollard who pulverizes it in the gap at midwicket and finds the gap as well

Stoinis to Pollard, no run, goes full and it skids on wide of off, watches closely and leaves it alone

Stoinis to Pollard, 1 wide, looking for a yorker, misses the target again, down the leg side, been a frustrating day for Faf du Plessis

Stoinis to Pollard, FOUR, short of a length and outside off, gets on top of it and tugs it away with nonchalance to deep square boundary, it's almost all over
