Not the usual Oakland wicket; this one had a lot of juice and offered plenty of assistance to both pacers and spinners. TSK exploited the conditions brilliantly, picking up wickets at regular intervals and making light work of the task at hand. The top three didn't even reach double figures. Aaron Jones showed some resistance but fell after a run-a-ball 17. Nothing much else to talk about really; just an abject surrender with the bat. A supreme bowling performance, though from TSK, didn't let them get off the hook at any stage. Zia-ul-Haq started the rot by triggering a storm, claiming the key wickets of Warner, Klaasen and Raza. Burger foxed Mayers, Taylor, and Jasdeep while Noor was bowling ripping, gripping, shaking, and troubling leg-breaks and googlies to dismiss Nayak, Harmeet and McCoy. Stoinis held up his end of the bargain and it was all too easy for the Kings, who were clearly the far better side in every department today. Faf du Plessis must be a very happy chappy, mighty pleased with his team's performance. A big boost to their NRR too, which could prove crucial in the later stages of the tournament
