Tajinder Singh: "Actually, this is my number [Number 4] where I used to bat on, and my team and coaching staff, everyone backed me on this number and said, Just take your time. And when you take your time, you will do whatever you want. And that's the inning I played. Batting with Nick, he's a legend of T20. He gives me confidence. He said, just spend some good time on the wicket. And when he played, he scored some good shots. And we took our time, like eight or ten balls, and then when I spend time on the wicket, I hit my shots well. [After the dismissal] I'm from Texas as well. I'm from Houston, so most of the guys know me. s me, I just love this crowd, I just love this ground. This is my home ground as well. So thank you, everyone, for supporting me."

Mustafa Moudi : "This is 18th match of the season and 9 of those, including this match, are 200 matches. Call me Old School, but too many 200 matches isnt healthy for a tournament. If teams reaches 200 often, the value that score is lost forever and any score below that mark would soon start looking boring !!"

Zain : "19 from last 3 is a reminder why MINY is at bottom of table, that's an awful end. "

8:47 pm In a whirlwind start, Quinton de Kock got a chance in the first over, only to be dismissed shortly after. Nicholas Pooran then launched a counterattack, smashing boundaries off Gannon and Mayers to keep the scoreboard ticking in the Powerplay. Monank looked good with the bat, but unfortunately, lost his wicket to a short ball within the Powerplay. Pooran, undeterred, continued his onslaught with massive sixes across the field. Tajinder joined him, finding his rhythm and hitting an incredible six sixes in seven consecutive deliveries, reaching his second T20 fifty - the fastest by an American in the MLC! This dynamic duo built a record-breaking 158-run partnership for the MLC. Tajinder was agonizingly close to his maiden T20 century, falling for a superb 95 off just 35 balls, the highest score by an American in the MLC. Meanwhile, MI New York's captain, Pooran, celebrated his second MLC century with a brilliant innings. The Orcas bowlers had no answers during the middle overs, being hit all over the park, but they managed to tighten things up in the final three overs after Tajinder's dismissal.
