Nicholas Pooran then launched a counterattack, smashing boundaries off Gannon and Mayers to keep the scoreboard ticking in the Powerplay. This dynamic duo built a record-breaking 158-run partnership for the MLC. Tajinder was agonizingly close to his maiden T20 century, falling for a superb 95 off just 35 balls, the highest score by an American in the MLC. Meanwhile, MI New York's captain, Pooran, celebrated his second MLC century with a brilliant innings.
