Gerald Coetzee: "Always a privilege to play with a bunch of class players, a class team in a great tournament. [Bowling unit] I think just discipline. We could see when we went away from our plans. Harmeet bowled exceptionally, Jessy bowled exceptionally. So good partnerships, totally can ask for. [Points table] It's freed us up. We can just play. Luckily, with six teams, only four need to get into the top four, so we're just here to have fun and play and I'm sure if we play well, we'll make it into the top four."

8:55 pm Matt Short kicked things off for the Unicorns just like he left off last game, smashing 14 runs in the first over, including two fours and a six! But the Orcas fought back quickly, getting the big wicket of Finn Allen, who was back in the team after missing the last match. Despite that setback, Matt Short kept up his powerful hitting, reaching his third consecutive fifty of the season, scoring 52 runs off just 29 balls. Then, Harmeet Singh stepped up for the Orcas and turned the game around! He grabbed three wickets in his first two overs, including the crucial wickets of Short and JFM. This really slowed down the Unicorns in the middle overs, leading to a mini-collapse. However, Romario Shepherd then took charge, playing a brilliant innings and scoring a fantastic fifty himself, finally departing for 56 runs off 31 balls, hitting some massive sixes along the way! In the end, Harmeet and Coetzee were the stars with the ball for the Orcas, both taking three wickets each.

McCoy to Shepherd, OUT, Shepherd has holed out! Widish fuller length ball outside off, bends down and reaches for it, slices it flat towards deep extra cover, Hetmyer collects the ball near the ropes, tosses it inside while he moves outside the ropes, and then returns to complete the catch. Cool as a cucumber!
